I've been playing Words with Friends with some woman I got randomly assigned to play. The first two games, I won by very close single digit margins. The third game, she's been playing all kinds of weird six or seven letter words and kicking my butt.

I think she played the first two games honorably but in the third she's using all the pay to win stuff to get revenge. I wish there was a way to play only with people who aren't going to use those.

Mostly you can tell who's using that stuff because they play weird long words the first two or three turns then start playing shorter more common words.

My knee still hurts, and I can't go to the doctor of hospital. Thankfully people at the
physiotherapy where willing to help me and I probably have a rupture in my meniscus, how big they couldn't tell me but I can train lightly.

Worst timing ever, I can't work and take care for my kids and because of that my wife can't work because she have to do everything in house and with the kids, especially the youngest.

that's indeed frustrating :( If it's a comfort: many meniskus injuries heal by themselves, though slowly. Bandaging the knee might help. Your physiotherapist might be able to show you how to do that.

my current frustration is only small: I've been taking herbal remedies against anxiety. They do work but have one side effect: I could sleep 24/7. Apparently, 2 of the 3 herbs combined in that med are also traditional remedies against sleeplessness.

Although the free option appears to remain for now, PostImage has introduced a Premium (paid) option. Hopefully this isn't the start of them pulling a PhotoBucket...

Today is the day we would've left on our trip--the trip we'd been talking about taking since before we even got married, 16 years ago.

    :(

Thanks. Yes, it's still stuck. It wasn't an update. Can't give many details because I'm typing with a Ps4 controller and about to fall asleep. The Ps4 browser is full of suck.

    Here is hubby's advice:
Try the power button. If it doesn't respond, hold the power button down for 5 seconds or more. If it still won't turn off, you're going to need something external, like a USB or something to try to force it to boot from Windows.

wouldn't pulling the plug do the trick as well? Then wait a few minutes to make the computer lose any memory of what it just did, replug and restart it. It ought at least start to boot and when it asks you which mode it should use, chose secure mode. It should then start properly. Once it's done with starting in secure mode, give it a few minutes to be certain it is completely done with all starting processes and then power it down as normal. Next time you switch it on it should start without any fuzz and in normal mode.

I had an old laptop that wouldn't boot up
The power button advice is a good one, I did the same
But I held it down for 30 seconds and that did the trick

That's BS . They need to give you exact numbers and they need to put it in writing.

I know. But I'm management, if I was admin I'd be told what to do, but I should just know, apparently.
We don't need policies either. Whatever it is that I am doing wrong, I need to stop that, and do it better, whatever that means.
I am paraphrasing here, but much less than you might imagine.

my sister in law got her test results yesterday. She's positive :(
She volunteered to nurse infected people in a home for elderly people and for the first week they didn't even have face masks or protective suits. Not even lab coats! After the first week they got protective gear but that is meant for one time use only and they had to use the same contaminated equipment for almost 2 weeks. I expect that every single nurse and doctor in that home got infected and will now for at least 1 month be unable to work. In the meantime, who shall treat the sick people in the home?? And that's not a single case, it's like this all over the country.
And all because some bloody morons who will never need them anyway stashed filter masks and protective overalls in such amounts that they are now sold out almost globally. It's unethical but I really hope they all get infected and land in hospitals that have not enough staff to care for them.

I am so sorry.. :( it is not just the infected people in the home for elderly but it is the doctors that got infected.. .. that need to be treated now.. that is the kind of exponential effect.. because the dr's and nurses' have infected their families that they might of seen during down time.. if there was any.

It is so Frustrating for us all.. :(

It will be OK but there is going to be a lot of losses .. :(
