Probably because I'm upset at all the idiots I'm having to deal with.

If it hasn't been said lately, thank you so much for going out there and putting yourself at potential risk, in order to allow the rest of us to get the things we need to get by. Sorry that some of us cause so many problems. :( I hope you, and everyone in the same situation, stays safe and healthy.

They need to postpone the Olympic Games since the Euros has been postponed as well.

Olympics Games has been postponed before due to World Wars and this current "World War V" has been similar in effect by causing deaths and having a very major social and economic disruption on a global scale.

There is nothing confusing about wanting to protect children in a daycare.
Well, it is to me. I would never bring my child to a day-care where someone was carrying guns.

But thanks for explaining why people feel to need to stand in lines and risk lives for this at this moment in time. My remark was not meant to make light of your cultural rights.

Well here in Glasgow yestarday on a sunny Sunday afternoon people and families filled the parks and enjoyed a care free day at the park, as if nothing was happening, utter cretins each and every one, NHS staff putting their lives on the line every moment they are there to try and halt this virus, yet these selfish idiots go out of their way to possibly help encourage the spread of the virus, but will no doubt be the first to cry foul and run to the NHS of they come down with it looking for help............just mind boggling and shameful in every way, i think we are going to have to bring the police and even army in to deal with this kind of behaviour as it is just going against everything everyone else is trying to do for the better of the entire country and the world.........shameful Glasgow, very shameful.

Were they at least 6 feet away from each other? ;)

Well the step has now been taken to close all parks seeing as when asked to behave responsibly on this matter it seem some need to have the government take it away from them so they can't do it.........just mind numbingly stupendous.

It's not just Glasgow, it was all over the UK this weekend. People are just not treating it seriously. They are stupid, selfish pricks.

I have a vague memory from several years ago, of my ex boyfriend watching some kind of cartoon, and a bunch of guys had these guns and called themselves exterminators. They go over to someone's house and literally start shooting at the insects, accomplishing nothing other than completely destroying his house. It's so stupid, I can't even be entirely sure it was a television show and not a dream lol.

Yep, in our news, they mentioned Snowdon and The Lake District as having the same issue. - Apparently, a few of the pubs were still open too:(

I followed their advice, which is why I had enough TP and such once the shelves started to deplete. The issue now is, since I did only get enough stock for a few weeks, as I use it up, I will start to get into a bit of an issue if they can't iron out the supply chain problems and get some stock back in the stores.

Yeah, this is something we ran into last week. It seems that those of us who are being reasonable are being caught out by diminishing supplies caused by hoarding, such as TP, which then has in effect increased the demand being outpaced by supply. I can only imagine the elderly who aren't as quick being faced with empty shelves.

Well it's looking like the UK is getting a lockdown of some kind, Boris Johnson is addressing the nation at 8.30pm

I'll be checking out that later. I know a couple of people who are getting the twelve week protection notice so they've been checking out home delviery slots (Apparently none within three weeks) but I've been doing my best to get the what I can for them.

Virginia has cancelled all school classes for the remainder of the school year. That's almost three months of classes. I wonder how this will affect graduations and diplomas earned this year.

Three months of classes is depressing, but lets say they had canceled for a month and a half... Would it have made sense to send kids back for such a short time?

Donald Trump itching to ease social restriction a week from Monday. I think that's a tad too agressive, but he is on to something in the long run. Everything should be extended at least another 15 days, probably a month. After that we need to see the results, and if we are flattening the curve, perhaps ease some others, with a clear communication to the people that we are just experimenting at this point, and tighter restrictions might return.

I tend to feel that with things like this, where most of the world is going with the flow, that it's reasonable to have a wait and see approach, and extend as needed after the original period is nearing expiry. Because the important thing to note is that it's a new thing for everyone and experts keep learning more about it and what to expect, and it's something that keeps changing rapidly. This is why we must remain vigilant. It's an unknown territory. We must learn to Learn, Live, Adapt.
