They still seem just too good to be true.
I can not believe that CBS have not realised how much they have popped when planning season 2. They probably wrote all ten episodes before filming began and the rushes came in.
They still seem just too good to be true.
Looks like the did a screen capture of the Enterprise from TAS. Or used a very similar pose.Cover for Agents of Influence now showing on Simon & Schuster digital catalog https://catalog.simonandschuster.com/TitleDetails/TitleDetails.aspx?cid=1303&isbn=9781982133689
Wow, that cover is really sharp!
Sweet. And it sounds like this could also be a stealth-continuation of Seekers, too, possibly?Cover for Agents of Influence now showing on Simon & Schuster digital catalog https://catalog.simonandschuster.com/TitleDetails/TitleDetails.aspx?cid=1303&isbn=9781982133689
Actually I'll get it on kindle.Ooh, paper cuts are awful, aren't they?![]()
Yeah, that is a nice cover, I look forward to seeing it in color.
Oh, right - Endeavour! Totally missed that. I'm a bit slow today, I guess.Sweet. And it sounds like this could also be a stealth-continuation of Seekers, too, possibly?
Oh, you're right there is color on the Enterprise. I wonder if these covers with only a little bit of color are going to be a regular thing? This one is mostly grey, The Unsettling Stars is mostly black and white, and The Higher Frontier is mostly blue.I assume that image *is* in colour... look at the Enterprise.
Yes, it's got a lot of grey, but grey is still a colour...![]()
The blurb said:The planet Vok is holding its first free elections after years of oppressive military rule. Captain James T. Kirk and the crew of the Starship Enterprise have been dispatched by Starfleet to serve as impartial observers, but remaining neutral proves a challenge, as Kirk confronts a tangled web of scandal, conspiracy, and assassination plots—with the stability of an entire sector at stake.
To make matters worse, Dr. Leonard McCoy has vanished while on a mission of mercy to Braco, a nearby planet only a system away. With Kirk unable to abandon his vital mission on Vok to hunt for his friend, it’s up to First Officer Spock and Christine Chapel to lead a team in search of the missing doctor, even if it means risking whatever fate befell McCoy.
Unknown to his friends and crewmates, however, McCoy has been spirited away to another world, Ozalor, where he’s expected to find a cure for a mysterious ailment plaguing a member of the planet’s ruling family. Torn between his Hippocratic oath and his desire to escape, McCoy finds himself at the center of deadly palace intrigues—and a struggle for power that may ultimately consume all three worlds!
Yay! This is wonderful news.I always look forward to reading new books by Greg Cox. I'm glad Dr.McCoy has an important story arc in the upcoming book. And Spock and Christine Chaple will be looking for Dr. McCoy.This the kind of story I like to read.
