Wasn’t the Borg “logo” only ever used in TNG’s Descent? So it might just be the logo of the drones that were following Lore...

I think that symbol is either:
    • the double circle "twin positronic neurons" symbol worn by Soji (as seen in the window in another preview still) with one of the circles twisted into an infinity loop, or
    • a circle (representing a neuron again) intertwined with a DNA double helix - which, together, would be an excellent representation of synthetic mind within a biological body.

I think it's supposed to be the former while signifying the latter...

No, it's there from "Q Who?" on. The alcoves there have these vertical black panels with red Borg "writing" on them, and one of the first patterns we see is this hand symbol.

I think that's probably right. More likely than a call-back to the Borg symbol (which I agree is a silly idea that is more about action figure packaging than in-universe logic).

But I also hope we never go down the "Borg origin story" route.

Looking closer, that symbol appears to be an award of some sort, with Bruce Maddox's name on it. The text underneath is much harder to read.

I'm really curious how Elnor reunites with Picard, Soji and , Jurati on a planet .What's going to happen on the android planet. I remember an old TOS episode with Mudd they had androids that were twins and wonder if the Picard tv writers got the idea for twin androids from that old TOS episode.I'm wondering what's going to happen with Seven of nine and the borg ship in the 2 part wrap of season 1.And the Romulan villians Narissa and Narek.going after Soji's homeworld too.

That implies that the Borg transwarp tunnel puts out *directly at* this planet. Significant or just lazy on someone's part?

Borg Transwarp tunnels are already lazy as fuck, I mean they had one GOING STRAIGHT TO EARTH. They were invented to get Voyager home, continuity be damned.

It appeared on TNG before Berman was even an EP. All the way back in their first appearance in "Q Who?"

It's weird they'd have one, but that looks like it could be some type of interface rather than logo.
