Enjoyed this episode so much. Have to admit was not able to keep it together for the Picard/Riker/Troi scenes. Sad about Hugh being killed
Probably Picard.Who left behind Seven’s beacon for Elnor to find?
Was that not the Borg Queen's chamber? I assume Picard left it for Hugh or Elnor to find it if needed.Who left behind Seven’s beacon for Elnor to find?
It's someone who is even older in-universe than Picard. Someone we haven't seen before, but someone we definitely will see. Ian McKellan definitely fits the bill, but that may be too on the nose. What other actor near/at their 80s who is still active who can make a great cameo? Hint, may or may not have same last name as a major American car manufacturer
Imagine the reaction on Ze Interwebz if that were the case![]()

Yeah, I don't think she made it.Couldn't Riker and Troi have tracked down Julianna Soong to save their son? Or did the Federation shut her down too?
Sure, and it was comical then as well, especially for the lower ranking Klingons. The ketchup bottle sound effects didn't help. But it was a little different in that it was 1) making a point about zero G and 2) it was a plot point. It didn't come off as "Fist of the North Star" style squirting.CGI blood goes back to Star Trek 6.
Riker has a history of being a jerk on TNG so his snide comments about the Romulan evacuation don't surprise me.
I find it very hard to believe Riker and Troi didn't do more to help Thad.
It seems the TNG crew are only capable of thinking up innovative and groundbreaking solutions when they're on a tv show. If not, they are hapless and helpless to events they otherwise would be able to defeat.Yeah, I don't think she made it.
He comes off cold towards Data and Soong at the end of 'Brothers' for example. Jellico wasn't a great commander, but Riker handled things poorly with him too. Totally unsympathetic to his duplicate Thomas Riker. Blamed that Betazoid guy for his Academy classmate's death when legally he was cleared. I'm probably forgetting a few.I have no idea what Riker you were watching at all. Riker could be petulant, but never unfeeling or cruel. He's gone out of his way to help people and bond with other cultures. I could list several dozen episodes.
There's no life support going to be available when the people doing the hacking don't give a fig about their victims to being with.Well, he was still fully aware, not on life support. I can't believe his injuries were beyond 24th-century surgery (any missing organ could have been replaced by an artificial one), she could have transported him to her ship and put him in stasis where he could remain indefinitely if necessary. To me, the idea that the only option was a mercy killing is just a lot of baloney!!
I think it likely Hugh will be rescued by a swarm of XB's who have frankly had enough of these pointy-eared devils poking and prodding them.
I believe that it was actually a skinned rabbit. Also, Kestra holds up a dead snake at one point, and there's some scary images in Oh's mind meld. And Oh takes off her sunglasses.
I believe that it was actually a skinned rabbit.
Riker called it a BUNNICORN.

Dunno. Having "villains" who are misunderstood or have shades of gray rather than being "pure evil" seems pretty standard Star Trek to me.Without a pure evil character to define boundaries in a show, you can't have good vs evil. If everyone is bunched up in the middle, it could also get a bit tedious.
Some sausages are aged, but there are also many types that are just chopped/diced fresh meat of some kind, with the appropriate herbs & spices added and then packed into a edible casing and cooked. The weird thing about that is it was referred to as bunnicorn sausage.
As a vegan, I don't know much about making sausage, but I'm pretty sure it's not just meat picked fresh off a carcass. Doesn't it need to be aged with salt and spices?
