Since the episode was accidentally released in Japan (instead of E6), we need this thread early!
Those who've seen it - what did you think?
I saw clips someone posted to prove it's true showing
Picard walking with Soji and presumably Kestra to the house, Troi sensing nothing from Soji, Riker making Pizza, Narissa threatening Hugh...
Seems like it could be the best so far!

Any guesses what the explosion on the planet is in the trailer? I am really hoping it's not centered on Riker and Troi's cottage. It would be all kinds of crappy if JL gets them killed just because their planet was the first he thought of...

I should've moved to Japan nine years ago, when my life was up in the air and I was seriously thinking about teaching ESL there. :p

EDIT: This is in reference to a post that's been deleted. In case anyone's going, "What the what?!"

Hi, I’m a long time lurker. Couldn’t wait to watch episode 6 so watched it by nefarious means last night. Thought it was great so wanted to rewatch it on Amazon Japan this morning, only to get episode 7.
To be honest thought it was the weakest of the season and a bit of a slow down after 6. Lots of character stuff which I appreciate it but episode 6’s plot progression pretty much came to a halt. Not a bad episode at all but not one to rave about. Still can’t wait for number 8 but guess I have 2 weeks to wait now. Anyway, that’s my take. Have loved this series so far and even though I thought this episode was on the dull side have really enjoyed Picard all round.

- No promoting piracy, or promoting adblockers. The last one especially will get you tossed from the board.
If the means by which you're watching Picard are "nefarious," we don't wanna hear about it. I'd advise never mentioning this again.

Do they mention any of their adventures after Nemesis on the Titan? Callbacks to TNG or the movies? Do we see a Starfleet ship?

The production number is 106 so maybe that's why a mistake was made.

I also looked up "nepenthe" and got this:

noun
1. a drug or drink, or the plant yielding it, mentioned by ancient writers as having the power to bring forgetfulness of sorrow or trouble.
2. anything inducing a pleasurable sensation of forgetfulness, especially of sorrow or trouble.

So, what I got from this is that Riker and Troi have started up their own illicit recreational drug plantation on some backwater planet... :D

I got to watch the episode too via Amazon. I don't know all the specifics on posting spoilers and whatever and I don't know what is and isn't allowed. Is it okay to just write a summary? Or should I let people ask questions and me answer them? Again, not really sure on the protocol and don't want to break any rules or get anyone in trouble.

Troi sensing nothing from Soji

I guess her telepathic skills hasn't gotten much improvements since the time she served on the -D :D:D:hugegrin::hugegrin:

Wondering if Troi's going to namedrop the whereabouts of any other ex-TNG crew, esp. Beverly whom so far hasn't been mentioned. I also wonder whether she's going to mention Lwaxanna's fate, which I assume is now deceased (RIP Majel Barrett).
