Is that the best you can do?butthurt because of criticism of your klutzman show?
When all else fails, go right for the jugular.
Thing is, you missed completely and ended up just punching the forum wall.

Actually he has explained his motivations pretty clearly several times.I am reasonably sure Sir Patrick will never explain his motivations to you.
Gene would probably throw up after seeing Stewart in this series. I have no idea why Stewart even agreed to that. Ah but the smell of cash and rekindling of past fame is strong, I guess.
Whadddyaknow? People on a Star Trek board like Star Trek!!!I haven't posted because I haven't been active here. I wanted to drop by at TrekBBS and see how this show is being received here. Any criticism towards STP in the general discussion thread seems to be like water in a desert; practically non-existent. STP is regarded here almost as some kind of masterpiece. There is no fault with it, whatsoever. It's perfect. It's 100% pure Star Trek. It's like I stepped into a Kurtzmanland. That should be a red flag to me that I shouldn't take the folks here seriously. And some of them have already proven that they are not to be taken seriously at all. Klutzmanland.
That's why Gene made as much money as he could. What do you think motivated Gene Roddenberry?
Do you imagine he had some prophetic vision he wished to share with the world and created Star Trek as his way of doing that?

Gene would think of all the whores and cocaine he could buy with all the new money he would make with the show, sit back and enjoy his life.Gene would probably throw up after seeing Stewart in this series. I guess it was hookers, cocaine, and cash. Right?
But, but, but ...,can we all agree that the constant misspelling of Kurtzman's name is both annoyingly unfunny and also feels borderline antisemitic?
Two out of three aint bad!I guess it was hookers, cocaine, and cash. Right?

Is it time for this again?Get out the smoked goggles. This one's gonna be in the record books.
agreed. I hate cashTwo out of three aint bad!
Nope. It was the pitch he was shown.A large amount of cash? An offer he couldn't refuse.
I haven't really been around the Picard forum, mostly for real life reasons, so I haven't kept up with all 130+ pages of discussion in this thread or the episode discussion threads, but from my experiences in the Discovery forum, the general discussion thread tends to not be the place where people talk about wether they like or dislike the show. In DSC people tended to make threads about how they dislike the show or talk about that in the episode discussion threads. I'd imagine, if you're looking for criticism, you will find some in the episode discussion threads.I haven't posted because I haven't been active here. Must be a conspiracy... Real Trek fans HATE Star Trek.![]()
Well, there's just one tiny thing. It's not Star Trek. I know, it's got Star Trek as a title. Star Trek Picard. I mean, who would ever doubt, right? But I wouldn't believe everything they put into titles nowadays.
