Spoilers Could a Star Trek: Rangers TV show be in the cards

Watching Seven in action, I get the feeling that this was foreplay for a Seven of Nine/Rangers spin off. Did anyone else get that vibe too. It could be really cool.
No, I didn't get that impression, but I'd like it.

We'd get to see a lot more of the Federation and surrounds without Starfleet, and could take us anywhere. It holds promise.

Legends of the Rangers anyone ?

The new show we need: Seven, Fenris Ranger

Cause the eyes of the ranger are upon you...
any wrong you do she's gonna see...
when you're on Fenris look behind you...
cause that is where the ranger's gonna be!

Someone please photoshop Seven over Chuck Norris XD

Moved to FoT and merged with an existing thread on the topic. Cuz I can do that.

Well, I think they moved forward with existing ideas. I would take Pike's Enterprise and ST: Rangers ahead of Lower Decks, Sect 31 or some of the other things Ive seen. But I think they will be focusing on their already developed ideas for now.

I also agree that future seasons of Picard will continue in a Rangers like way with La Sirena picking up new crew members, losing others. JL may end up liking the idea of making a difference again. Same for Raffi. She is regaining her sense of purpose, instead of boozing and smoking dope in her trailer and staring at the ceiling.

Agreed. STP has interested me in 5 episodes more than the entire first season of DISC or any promise of an S31 or lower decks series.

A 'Star Trek Rangers' show? I hope not. Certainly wouldn't interest me.

I just want a plain old Star Trek series about a Starfleet vessel exploring the galaxy. No Section 31 or Rangers thank you.
