I played an Elf Samurai in my last D&D campaign. CBS, I hope you know where to send the royalties for that blatant ripoff of my D&D character!I get more of a samurai vibe myself.
If they had, more younglings would have survived (Too soon?)The Jedi would never warp the minds of small children and encourage them to use weapons.![]()
I don't know if he's a copy, but I'd love to hear someone in canon knocked Jellico flat on his ass like Calhoun did.IMO Cristóbal Rios is a blatant ripoff of Mackenzie Calhoun
down to resigning from starfleet after seeing his captain killed
Do we?but we know from trailers he goes immediately back
Meets Seven at the chateau as wellWell at some point he goes back to Earth to talk to Riker and Troi but that could still be a couple or more episodes down the road. Immediately? Maybe not.
Even Elnor the Elf Romulan isn't a ripoff per se, just an extremely lazy homage that we can all see through like a bottle of watered down Romulan Ale.
So Elnor is 7,000 years old? Is he going to enter a special warp configuration to take Picard to Valinor and ask the Valar to let him in?Absolutely not!!!!!
Elrond is his grandfather. He is Elnor, the son of Elrohir the son of Elrond.
And, if this means I get my Lord of the Rings/Star Trek crossover I've always wanted I will have zero complaints.
I mean, I think that will become more clear show moves on.The most impressive thing about the Picard show that I'm surprised isn't getting more attention is that this is the first non-military non-Starfleet Star Trek show. It's just a show about people being people, not about military operations. That's a huge difference than anything that came before and makes it feel more relatable. Picard himself is infinitely more relatable now that he's not a military officer in command.
I mean, maybe. It depends on when Elrohir had him.So Elnor is 7,000 years old? Is he going to enter a special warp configuration to take Picard to Valinor and ask the Valar to let him in?
You have my phaser.Absolutely not!!!!!

Now now, let's not confuse Vasquez Rocks (Earth) with Vasquez Rocks (every 3rd alien planet in the Trek franchise)It is weird that episode 3 has him leaving earth (finally!) but we know from trailers he goes immediately back.
In one episode, we'll be treated to a nice scene where Raffi keeps looking for her house until Picard catches up to her and tells her they're actually on Mintaka III.Now now, let's not confuse Vasquez Rocks (Earth) with Vasquez Rocks (every 3rd alien planet in the Trek franchise)
And then a robed Vulcan monk asks them what they're doing on restricted monastery grounds. Before a Gorn throws a boulder at them both and they flee, running headfirst into the replica of Finnegan from Starfleet Academy circa 2252.
Just coming back to this earlier rumour to note that there's an interview with Santiago Cabrera in Daman magazine, published this week, in which he talks about having to re-grow his hair and beard when he finishes work on the movie he's shooting in Boston, ready to go back into production on Picard. He's definitely still in the show for season two.Rios actor not signed for season 2? Anyone else hear this news?
