Spoilers Star Trek: Picard General Discussion Thread

Well at some point he goes back to Earth to talk to Riker and Troi but that could still be a couple or more episodes down the road. Immediately? Maybe not.

Absolutely not!!!!!

Elrond is his grandfather. He is Elnor, the son of Elrohir the son of Elrond.

And, if this means I get my Lord of the Rings/Star Trek crossover I've always wanted I will have zero complaints.
So Elnor is 7,000 years old? Is he going to enter a special warp configuration to take Picard to Valinor and ask the Valar to let him in?

The most impressive thing about the Picard show that I'm surprised isn't getting more attention is that this is the first non-military non-Starfleet Star Trek show. It's just a show about people being people, not about military operations. That's a huge difference than anything that came before and makes it feel more relatable. Picard himself is infinitely more relatable now that he's not a military officer in command.

I mean, I think that will become more clear show moves on.

I mean, maybe. It depends on when Elrohir had him.

Rios actor not signed for season 2? Anyone else hear this news?
Just coming back to this earlier rumour to note that there's an interview with Santiago Cabrera in Daman magazine, published this week, in which he talks about having to re-grow his hair and beard when he finishes work on the movie he's shooting in Boston, ready to go back into production on Picard. He's definitely still in the show for season two.
