La Sirena

So the Interior Width seems to be about double the size of a Runabout and the Exterior would be perhaps 2.5 the length of one?

I am going to try to make it in sketchup. And see what dimensions seem to match the visuals.

I was more struck that he made the EMH in his own image. Although with a different personality. Freud would have something to say about that I am sure.

The EMH package comes with the option to choose between half-dozen pre-programmed personality types. Anything else requires a pricey upgrade or your own personal programming.

Michael Chabon released this image on instigram...

Got to say not the biggest fan of the bright red on the model.

Even more apt, after seeing the model box art. :D

So the whole standing set for La Sirena would be two-stories, built on one soundstage. Minus the washrooms, of course. There might be a hatch or two duly labelled, but I doubt they'd actually build the innards of that compartment.

(Waiting to be inevitably surprised by the set designers and construction team...)

For scale, easiest is drop the cockpit window, into the model art.
Going by Picard who is standing.

Yeah this thing is pretty much going to be just the two levels.
The bridge extending into the hold area behind, which ends at the transport platform and lights. (likley the engines (warp-core?) are behind that.
And the lower level, which might have a few rooms. Maybe a loading ramp.

I'm sure there's at least one Merchant Vessel La Cucaracha wandering around somewhere in the Federation-explored reaches of the Orion Arm.

See, told you I wasn't a very good judge.
Now I can see it.
:techman:

It's a little off, but it's close. We know how tall the actors are, and I know the height of the Sketch Up preloaded sample people. So we are looking at something like 12+ meters for width, and 40m to 48m length and the height of the deck is over 5 meters in the model. Which is why you cant get 4 decks here. They made the deck heights too high to add more than two decks in.
