NFL 2019 Season

Yeah, the Chiefs stopped Henry, so the Niners run game will be iffy. Jimmy G might actually have to throw some balls.

Still, a SB without the Pats or Eagles wasting space might be worth watching. Nice to see GB go away too.

Chiefs stopped Henry because he was the only threat. 49ers are a totally different animal, so we’ll see.

Not sure who to root for with this one. I don't have a horse any where near this race. I suppose since my second team is the Broncos, I should root against KC, but I really like Reed & Mahomes, both of whom have done some amazing things these past couple of years. On the other hand, I've never been a really big SF fan to begin with, although their head coach is a Shanahan, whose dad led the Broncos to two consecutive SB victories, and both of whom did their damnedest to fix my Redskins (first team) in the last decade amidst a constant flood of meddling and interference from the feckless "Dark Heart" Snyder. I'm really kind of torn...

I guess I'll just relegate myself to simply watching some kick-ass football in two weeks.

 :sigh:

I will cheer for the Chiefs. Not a huge disappointment if the 49ers get their sixth ring, but my buddy is a Chiefs fan, so why not?

I'm already tired of the Maholmes lovefest by the football media, so I'm going to cheer for the 49ers. Not that I actually care who wins, I just want it to be a good game, and the Chiefs lose.

Yes, I'm a sore loser.

Rooting for the Chiefs because of Reid and Mahomes. My head says the more balanced 49ers will prevail, however.

Hoping for a high scoring shootout with the Chiefs losing. (no self respecting Raiders fan could ever root for the Chiefs)

At halftime, I will put on the headphones and drown out the usual halftime show crap.

In addition to the bail money he had to put up, Brown will “be monitored by GPS and be required to release his passport and guns, go through drug and alcohol testing, and get a mental health evaluation,” per Cameron Wolfe of ESPN.com. Wolfe was in the courtroom, and he writes that there was a contentious battle between prosecutors and defense attorneys over the bail situation. Prosecutors alleged he was a flight risk due to his recent erratic behavior, and wanted him held without bail.

Damn. The prosecutors wanted to hold him without bail. I really hope that he can get the help he needs and get back on the field. He's clearly passionate about football and lost without it.

I'm rooting for the 49ers for obvious reasons. I think it will be a really fun game though and if the Chiefs win, they would have deserved it.

The Texans have announced that head coach B. O'Brine is now also the GM. As if the organization didn't have enough problems.
