Chiefs Titans game reminded me of a college game I attended years ago. Norte Dame went up on USC 24-0 in the first half. SC scored just before the half to make it 24-7. USC roared back in the second half and ended up winning 55-24. It was said later that this was the game that drove famed ND coach, Ara Parsegian out of college football. The momenitum gained from winning a game like this could carry the Chiefs to a Super Bowl victory. Would be a trip if they played Green Bay and finally avenged their loss in SB I.
I was at that game. Slight adjustment: USC missed the extra point, and went into halftime down 24-6. They then scored 49 unanswered points in the second half. Man that was awesome! How about Anthony Davis? KC/Green Bay would be a good game. So would KC/SF.
Ah yes, the original “AD.” I remember a feeling of inevitability when he ran that kick-off back. That opened the floodgates for SC. This game is a cherished football memory for me, as I’m sure it is for you as well.well. It was a historic game.
Luke Kuechly retiring at 28 years old. Not surprising - his concussion issues were awful to watch. Just a few days away from Championship Sunday - and it's highly refreshing in that I'd be okay with any possible Super Bowl matchup this year. Usually I root vehemently against the Pats making it, before I'm inevitably disappointed. 2017 was the absolute worst because it was both the Pats AND the Eagles. This year however: Chiefs/49ers - Great offense vs great defense Chiefs/Packers - what a QB matchup Titans/49ers - Would love to see this run heavy, physical game Titans/Packers - Derrick Henry on one end, Rodgers on the other Every matchup is fresh and interesting to me.
How big of a fuck up do you have to be to get Drew Rosenhaus to drop you as a client? https://www.profootballrumors.com/2020/01/drew-rosenhaus-parts-ways-with-antonio-brown
congrats to KC, headed to the big game. Living dangerously, down 10 to start again, but ended up being the team people thought they were and put it away. Green Bay/49ers next. Should be a decent Super Bowl no matter what the matchup is. on a personal note, pissed at the NFL. Turns out I’ll be in Hawaii next week, it’s Pro Bowl weekend, got excited for a second. But no, it’s in Florida this year.
I’m dominating my fantasy football today and most of my picks left are the same as my opponents. Mahomes, Hill, Watkins in first game, Mostert in second. Only chance of losing at this point is that I picked Packers defense. Or 30 points from Lazard. I’m up 24 points at halftime. We have two of the same picks. But he has 49ers defense and he also has Lazard. There’s some chance that will be enough to catch me. Basically I need Packers to score a lot in second half and not by Lazard.
After the Packers two TDS my lead is up to 29. Think I got this. Will probably root for 49ers in championship due to Garoppolo. Almost wish Brady retired earlier so we’d still have him.
I don’t understand that 2pt conversion. The difference between 21 and 20 is much bigger than the difference between 20 and 19.
49ERS ARE GOING TO TO THE SUPER BOWL!!!!! That was a dominating effort on the Run game. It will be a close game against the Chiefs.
