The warp coils on the bus go round and round.. round and round..

It was changed a month or so back, it was green in a trailer. So I guess they changed the Borg cube forcefield from blue to green now...kinda was digging the blue look to be honest, but the green does make it look proper.
I don’t think that shuttle is an Argo type; it looks more like the standard shuttle used in the Star Trek ‘09 Kelvin universe movie.
Of course, this might take into account the idea that Kelvin Universe Starfleet reverse-engineered the info gained from the scans of the 24th century prime universe Narada and would explain why the 23rd century Kelvin universe looks so much more advanced than TOS.
But then DSC screws that up royally...

This would be the first time a Kelvin universe asset was used in the Prime universe, albeit over a century after it was used in the Kelvin universe. I would agree with you if it weren't for the TOS style bussards. It's so dumb. I absolutely love it!
Seriously though, I think the DIS shuttles fit much, much better into the 24th century than the 23rd anyway. Same for lots of other ship designs. I'm absolutely fine with their re-use here.
Didn't spot that, do you have a screenshot? I can imagine certain canon sticklers getting upset about that! The preview for next week's episode, shows a hologram of the DSC Enterprise next to the Enterprise-D in Starfleet Command
It's beautiful! The TOS Bird of Prey has more detail than in the trailers!
I think it could be either - but I'd stop short of calling the Kelvin one a "standard shuttle". We never see it again after the bits where it ferries folks for Starfleet Academy. Its fancy short nacelles on the upper corners might make it a short range barge rather than a proper shuttle for all we know; ST:ID returns to a more "standard" starship auxiliary.
Of course, a surface-to-orbit barge would be perfect for this PIC scene.

But not from our hearts. So it seems that if it wasn’t before, the TOS Enterprise has been officially retconned out of existence.
But not from our hearts.
Just like Gene Roddenberry would want.
I don't think we can say that for certain, the DIS Enterprise could still be refit into the TOS Enterprise yet! (If people really don't want to just accept the visual reboot of it).So it seems that if it wasn’t before, the TOS Enterprise has been officially retconned out of existence.
It shows this, then cycles to the Enterprise-DDidn't spot that, do you have a screenshot? I can imagine certain canon sticklers getting upset about that!
No. Starships are a lot more sturdy.Wouldn't that be like riding in a Model-T Ford at this point?
