Arrowverse's Crisis on Infinite Earths to be 5-Part Crossover

^ You're picking "CW shows" as the comparison base. If you pick "DC shows," however, Black Lightning is the only series across multiple networks and platforms (the CW, FOX, Syfy, DC Universe) not getting a Blu-ray release in the States.

Because WB and CW probably have a lot more to do with those kind of decisions than DC does.

You're not wrong that Warner makes the decision, since they own and release all the DC shows. Doesn't change the fact. And I still think "other DC shows" is the most relevant category for comparison, but if you don't, that's certainly your prerogative.

The episodes were disappointing. Completely lacking a worthwhile narrative structure, with more focus placed on the cameos.

However, Brandon Routh as Superman was the highlight. The performance was very true to the character and something we haven't seen from a live action Superman in a while.

I’d bet a lot more on it being a bean counter decision than a racist one. If it was getting a non-HD only release on iTunes and similar download/streaming services as well, I could see deliberate racism at work. This seems a serious stretch. If there was money to be made for the content providers, there’d be a Blu-ray.

I agree that it is probably a money decision, which is a gray area of racist policies depending on you position on such things. About ten years ago, DC introduced a number of legacy heroes (Ryan Choi, The Atom--Jaime Reyes, Blue Beetle) designed to introduce more diversity to their universe. The comics didn't last very long and were discontinued due to sales--similar issue.

That why I would call it green racism vs. Red racism . Green racists don't consciously say they want to hurt black people economically... but those decisions wind up doing so.

It is like Target closingnup some stores...but "just so happens" that are in the black south side neighborhoods... where in the middle of a "white island" neighborhood of Hyde Park, it still stands

January 14, but I'm not sure about the times for other places, I think my channel shows them later in order to make room for some local shows before them.

I was looking at CWs schedule and I was surprised they are only reairing Part 3 next Monday night and not the whole thing. I would have thought they would have reaired the whole thing, considering how big they treated the crossover in December.

All three parts are streaming for free on their website. I gather that the high traffic on their website/app is why they can afford to keep so many niche/cult shows whose ratings wouldn't be high enough to survive on another network. So maybe they figure the online availability makes it less necessary to rerun them over the air.

I know. I wish I didn't need to sit through the ads though. If it was on the Network I would be able to DVR it.

They re-aired Part 1 tonight, and are re-airing Part 2 tomorrow night.

Interesting. I was looking for it but I only do have Flash and Arrow set to record. Like Christopher said, it is on the App, and if they are airing it tonight, that refreshes how long it stays on the app.

The shows listed are 'Supergirl' for Part 1 and batwoman for Part 2 - so if you only have Flash and Arrow set, you won't get it on the DVR.
