It's 20 after 3 in the morning, I've been awake for over an hour, I didn't get to sleep until around 11 pm and I'd been waking up around every half-hour or so.

^must be the season - the very same thing happened to me yesterday. Went to bed at 6 because I was dead on my feet, couldn't fall asleep until after 10 and then woke up 5 or 6 times till at 4 I finally surrendered and got up.

Frustrating thing today: it's a dark and foggy day and my enthusiasm for work keeps within boundaries that are tighter than a Victorian corset... I want a sofa, a good book, a mug of cocoa, some chocolates and a warm blanket! And a cave where I can hibernate for the next 6 months.

Fair enough, but seeing as they show Star Trek on the Horror Channel in the UK, I wouldn't lose sleep over it.
