If you're a fan of Stephen Colbert and have a Facebook account you can watch the best thing ever... https://m.facebook.com/story.php?st...4354&id=545775132233909&fs=0&focus_composer=0
I forget the guy's name, but he's the Late Show's regular stand-in for fake voices and goofy characters during the cold opening and other pre-recorded segments.
There's a YouTube channel called Postmodern Jukebox, who does jazz/swing/big band versions of a lot of modern music. They have an awesome version of the theme from Pinky and the Brain; be sure to check out the bartenders in the background. They also did a take on the Animaniacs theme song. Check them out! I like a lot of their stuff. (I'd include links, but the PC I'm using had very locked-down permissions...)
Emmy award-winning Animaniacs and Pinky and the Brain writer Gordon Bressack has passed away. I had hoped that he was going to be involved with the revival. Rest in peace, sir. https://www.animationmagazine.net/p...nimaniacs-writer-gordon-bressack-dies-age-68/
Not that I think anybody really doubted it, but Rob Paulsen's new memoir, "Voice Lessons", confirms that the original cast is returning. https://www.animationmagazine.net/s...m_source=facebook&hss_channel=fbp-20548955166 I had no idea that Rob Paulsen suffered from throat cancer.
I hope so. You can't do the Animaniacs without Ralph the guard chasing them around the studio lot. However, I'm indifferent to Rita and Runt and Buttons and Mindy.
So, does this mean it's just the show coming back and it's not some kind of remake? Or is it the old cast doing similar voices for new versions of the characters?
It's the same show coming back for two more seasons. Think of it this way; Ralph the guard finally caught the Warners and locked them in the tower back in 1998, and now they've escaped again.
