Arrowverse's Crisis on Infinite Earths to be 5-Part Crossover

Lies.

There's no such thing as too much Remy.
The correct amount of Remy is zero. ;)

I wonder if we'll find out what happened to Routh's Super-son.

I somehow doubt it but you never know.
If they do treat him as the Returns Superman (Please oh please!) maybe this version of him retired (a la Kingdom Come) for a time due to the death of his son, rather than Lois? Although maybe sticking with Lois (if there is a death) would be better so you don't have to explain why she doesn't look like Bosworth.

I believe that would be too much backstory for what might be a glorified cameo/stunt-casting. Unless Routh is heavily involved, I doubt the episode would invest the necessary time to get into something so tragic. That would require more than a "oh, err.....my wife and son died, and..."

Quite possibly, but it's fun to what-if for just a little while, 'til they smash my dreams with their CW mediocrity. ;)

Given how crowded this crossover is likely to be, I wouldn't be getting up any hopes that most of these characters being anything more than extended cameos. So even if it's meant to be the Reeves/Routh version, I doubt there'd be time to even passingly reference the status of Lois or their kid.

Buzzkill.

Guggenheim was on Twitter saying that tomorrow (Wednesday, October 2) that:
We’ll break something tomorrow that shows we’ve been working towards this for ALMOST 10 years...
(“this” being the Crisis). He clarified that tomorrow’s revelation is not related to Smallville. Stay tuned. Same Bat-time, same Bat-channel.

That appears to be the logo of the Earth-38 incarnation of the Planet. Haven't we heard that CatCo is getting a new owner this season? Maybe they bought the Planet as well.

How is this a spoiler?? Also, I think Christopher's question has an obvious answer...the bottom it looks like the word "subsidiary"

The Planet has had several corporate owners over the years including Morgan Edge's GBS, Lex Luthor and even Bruce Wayne. Currently it's owned by some rich lady with nefarious connections

Yep.

I wish I was allowed access to the soundtrack mixing board. I’d insert the Man of Steel Zimmer theme into a dramatic pause—just to make some people nervous about the Snyderverse emerging as the only remaining universe. :shifty:

My money's on the Batman '66 Batmobile. They'd have to reveal that because it would be a little difficult to hide the Batmobile rolling down downtown Vancouver. Or maybe its a pic of Burt Ward in character as whoever he's playing.

Whilst I think you're right about most of the appearances I don't think Routh would've gone to all the trouble of bulking up just for a cameo, even an extended one. He'd have just worn a muscle-suit.

But by the same token,I doubt they got him to bulk up for that just to give people a status update on the plot of a 10 year old movie. His appearance and dialogue is pretty certain to be plot centric to the crisis at hand.

If they rob all the guests of any context, it'd make for one very disappointing event.

Right now, the guests are overshadowing the TV shows themselves, and I don't think that's a bad thing, unless when they actually do the stories, the guests are underused, which would be a disappointment. There's no better example of that than how they used Earth 90 Flash last year.

As a non-Arrowverse viewer (gave up a few years ago) I'm expecting to be bored beyond belief every minute that there isn't a guest star on screen. ;)

If the purpose of this crossover is ratings, and the purpose of the guests is to boost the audience, then the main characters should step back a bit. I don't think too many people will be tuning in to see Batwoman.
