He also looks more like John Schneider now, go figure.Am I crazy, or does Welling look more like Superman now than he did when he actually played the part? That's kinda nuts.
Affirmative.Did they use the same location in Smallville and Supergirl?
Did they use the same location in Smallville and Supergirl?
It is not a Smallville reunion, although I think it becomes pretty clear in the promos for the crossover that there are Smallville elements, at least, in terms of location. And if you're a fan of Smallville, and I have no idea if they're going to keep this in the final cut, but there's a treat for you in there. ... Full disclosure, I've never seen an episode of Smallville before. Sorry! I wasn't that into comic book TV shows when I was growing up. I've since seen a couple, for very obvious reasons. But as someone who wasn't a diehard fan of Smallville, this moment in the crossover made me jump out of my seat. If you're a fan of Smallville, you may want to put down rubber sheets or something like that, because, quite frankly, you might piss your pants.
I had the same thought. I mean, it was a huge kick to hear it in "Elseworlds," but it did kind of blow it for an even more awesome use in "Crisis."Too bad they used the Smallville theme last year, it would have been perfect for this year's.
Any reason why they couldn't use it again?Too bad they used the Smallville theme last year, it would have been perfect for this year's.
Not really, but I guess the point is it wouldn't have quite the same effect the second time.Any reason why they couldn't use it again?
Wouldn't have the same charm.Any reason why they couldn't use it again?

The journey to get back into #SuperheroShape has been a fun one!
HUGE thanks to @jadeway my trainer in Vancouver! He helped me get stronger & bigger, & stay healthy!
And @reggiebradshaw_ & his gym @rizefitness for the training HQ. Also, thanks to @arinb for kick-starting the training in my first week!
I had less time to train then back in 2004, but thankfully I benefited from muscle memory & good eating habits (@bulletproof #diet & #BulletproofCoffee #IntermittentFasting #Keto). Also, many others helped along the way. Previous years of training have laid the foundation.
@drh.kinection has been huge in the last 3 years training me while in LA & helping me learn how to squat, deadlift, do pull-ups, etc. in the most safe/healthy way preventing me from injury while lifting heavy.
And thank you to #AlbertChang at #OriginalYinQiGongGym (Vancouver) for teaching me to gain better use of my core through #QiGong & #KneeBending training. All which have helped me feel & move more like #Superman!
And lastly, #RayCampisi, my trainer for nearly 10 years post #SupermanReturns. Ray passed away suddenly a few years ago, but he never gave up hope that I might return to the cape. I think of him often, and he inspires me still
Yeah it looks like Tyler will be the smallest Super
And that's how they'll explain Welling not wearing the suit the whole time. They'll be transported from Earth Smallville to Earth-38 and he'll not have the suit with him.Since we already know that the Kent farm is identical in both Earth 38 and Earth Smallville, I am anticipating the scene where one Lois & Clark pair is transported to the other universe and then are confronted by the other Lois and Clark and they have a "Whaaaaa?" moment.
I wonder if we'll find out what happened to Routh's Super-son.
I somehow doubt it but you never know.
