Ah, nothing like presenting information from an independent and unbiased source.

I have that thought every time I see a new one............Pick a popular show.....Pick the star or showrunner......make a video with a clickbait headline and use "un-named insider" source.......wait for the ad revenue!

Don't forget to monitor the comments. Those "get woke, go broke" comments won't heart themselves!

The thing is, his blog doesn’t line up either. None of the main things (other than the Tardigrade) claimed to be copied showed up until after DSC was written.

There’s nothing on the blog that backs him up.

Actually ralfy, what I was asking for (and I think you know this) is for you to provide your own commentary about the contents of the videos you've been dropping around the board, so that you would have contributed something to the discussion yourself and have a position to defend instead of just lazily spamming the thread with someone else's shitty video and description. It's not about people on the receiving end having a lack of knowledge of the case, it's about discouraging posts by people who don't even want to put in the minimal amount of effort into their trolling drive-by threadshitting response.

I think there's a difference between "biased" and "has a vested interest in portraying events in the most flattering possible way"

Has he built his diamond mansion, and bought his rocket car with all the money he’s won from CBS?

Four more days and it will have been a year since this lawsuit was filed ...

Doesn't look any better for the Plaintiff now than it did 361 days ago.

What’s longer, this thread or the odds of him winning?

Well, another 25 posts and the thread count will be equal to the year the suit started.

    Chances of winning =1 / {(messages in this post)*(youtube videos egging on Abdin)^2}

Actually, for him to 'win' - he'd have to provide some actual hard evidence (and not just make a circumstantial claim with no real evidence to back it up) <---- Which was what the Judge informed his counsel she'd need for the case to proceed further; and the date she gave for such evidence to be provided has come and gone -- and it's been passed by a BIG margin.

Thus, his chance of 'winning' at this point and time would be zero - unless he came across some real/major 'smoking gun' type evidence of course.

    Welp...
One year ago today (8/19/2018), this whole thing became an Official Legal Matter.

(and became fabulous fodder for a few Yt Jockey-monkeys to make a buck off of some foolish Trek Fans)

He's playing the long game my friend, you'll see. It'll turn out that everything after Enterprise was stolen from his game and as such will be cancelled, decanonised and burnt, and he and Alec Peters will get 1 trillion dollars each.
I haven't seen such cunning legal manoeuvring since I was in film school.

I'm wondering at this point if the Judge is actually giving the Plaintiffs Lawyer a chance to withdraw the suit.
Thus giving them an opportunity to not have a loss like this on their resume.
One would think that if the case had enough actual merit to go to jury, the Judge would have done so by now.

I know this Judge tends to procrastinate somewhat with making decisions, but I haven't found a case of her's that has dragged out this long, without any writs being entered into the court record by either side.
