I had one of those dreams where I knew that something was wrong but I couldn’t be sure that it was a dream, but I did ask people I met. Basically, I’d gone outside on to the drive, but our car was replaced by another one under a tarpaulin sheet. I also noticed that the row of houses opposite was replaced with a high hedge. It was obvious that we had moved, but I had no recollection of it. I couldn’t accept that it was real, but it was real enough that I couldn’t dismiss it as a dream.
I haven't remembered any regular dreams lately but I have had several similar nightmares over the past month. Something I did (or didn't do) caused a friend to be hurt. I wake up so sad until I realize it was only a dream.
I've had a series of dreams lately with sketchy details. For instance, last night I dreamed aliens had invaded our planet and enslaved humanity. I didn't see the aliens in my dream, but humans had different roles to play. Some were slaves and others were overseers. Two nights ago, I dreamed I was back in the old country, but the people and places were familiar, as if I was here in the U.S. There was a group of middle-aged gay Asian men in an old building that was some sort of a religious center, but it wasn't a church. They were talking about a meeting and how certain members didn't show up. There were other occupants in the building, such as men and women having relations in the communal restrooms. A young mother with two small children was praying aloud at an altar with her distinctive Irish accent.
I dreamed last night that I was at work being attacked with a frying pan by one of the directors of another company I worked for.
OK seems I got a part two of my dream where I was borgified and the woman with long black hair was my handler and we ended up doing borgy things to computers and making money. Then we made out on a sofa.
A very fatalistic dream last night. Basically, it was the end of an era and everything was being packed away, buildings, trees, streets, and all the people were moving on to the next thing. I wanted to stay and had planned nowhere else to go. All of my friends had either left already, or were saying their goodbyes before moving to their new lives. I had a special moment with a lass from long ago before we were parted forever. I still had packing to do, lot of packing, and I was starting to get stressed as the workers began dismantling the house and I had to move my things using a red Robin Reliant. There was much more to it, but that’s about the gist of it.
My dream was another mixed bag. It started as a student night out. We’d gone to an Italian restaurant and the only people I knew were my mother and someone I worked with. That was mad, but it led to the drive back, in my 1:24 scale Ferrari testarosso scaled up. Luckily, it was all down hill so I didn’t need to worry about the lack of a working engine, or breaks, the working steering was enough. We were stopped by the police for not stopping at an accident, and taken in to custody. From our cell we could see a lake where dolphins got eaten by crocodiles. Everyone in the prison was then released after everyone got the shits. We continued our journey to a huge Victorian town house where we were all roughing it. About eighty people in an 8 bedroom house. I crashed on the living room floor with a dozen other people in sleeping bags and tried to sleep, but someone I only know from the school gate kept trying to sit on my face. Blue knickers, spiders legs, this wasn’t a sex dream. After the long weird night, in the dream, everyone woke and recollected their drunken escapades, my only concern was finding my belt and cleaning my teeth. And having a cigarette while breakfast was fried. Breakfast was awesome.
I had a dream the other night about my childhood friend, Gracie, who lives in another country. (She's the mom of my autistic godson). I dreamed I was Spiderman and that she and I were on a date. So I was slinging webs all over the city and around the Statue of Liberty while she hung onto me. It didn't even occur to me how I became Spiderman in the first place or why I was in New York. After awhile, she got tired and wanted to do something else, but I wasn't really into it, and things got weird.
Had a dream of trying to move a nice model of the International Space Station--but it kept breaking. Details starting to fade, but last dream was creepy. I was living in a shared house, a gnarly old Victorian terrace with an urgent need of renovation and everyone thought it was haunted. Strange sounds, things going missing, paintings moving, always cold. Things always in the corner of your eye. Things came to a head when we all decided to sleep in one room and after lots of scares we discovered a creepy couple of squatters. I want to remember more, it would make a cracking short story.
I've mentioned before that I don't often dream, or at least don't often remember them. Since I get more sleep on the weekends, I'm more likely to dream then, too. So last night I had a number of weird dreams, and kept waking up from them. So, unfortunately, I don't remember most of them. The only one I still remember is the most recent one before getting up. A relative and I were shopping at Canadian Tire, and we needed to use the washroom. Unfortunately, they apparently didn't have any, so they told us we had to walk to the gas station up the street. We went there, and there was some kind of street festival going on at the gas station, with crowds and performers and music and such. We finally found the washrooms, and they were on top of these large mounds... they weren't that high (the top was at about eye level), but they only had sheer faces, and you had to pull yourself up the side to climb up to where the washrooms were. Then the scene changed and I was at work, and there were a number of us gathered together to protest the company and to compel them to install women's washrooms at the office, because apparently we had somehow been without them all this time. As part of our protest, someone played this really incendiary YouTube video demanding that the company provide women's washrooms, or there would be violence. Most of us were trying to be peaceful about it, so we were trying to figure out who created the video, and we ended up finding out it was created by HR. Apparently my subconscious is really obsessed with not being able to find a washroom when I need one. (Of course, when I woke up, I had to go pretty badly, so that might have played into it! )
I dreamed I was out and about on a lunch break, and somebody I didn't know complimented the tie I was wearing. Stuff like this does happen to me in real life from time to time. Kor
I had a very stupid dream that involved me and my wife going back in time to photograph a rare but elusive yellow dinosaur. I have no idea why. We found it. It looked goofy. We took some some photos and I woke up.
