^I think it's getting more and more uncommon as nowadays fewer people grow up with both species. Thus, to a certain extent they might perhaps be raised to be dog lovers or cat lovers, and since they lack experience with the respective other species they would propably have communication problems with them.

I grew up with both, but definitely am the proverbial “cat person”. Have been since a young age, even though we had dogs before we had cats. (TBH, I don’t actually remember much about childhood... but I do have memories related to the cats!)

I've grown up with dogs, horses, ferrets, jackdaws, rabbits, rats, mice, hamsters, turtles, parakeets, beos and a gazillion others but we never had cats. I like them but never really get on their wavelength. It took me 6 years to get accepted (and adopted) by my neighbour's three cats but I still don't quite understand their thoughts.

Yes, those sound like cats! Don’t worry, this is the way they prefer it, and all is right with the world!

I also hate canned laughter. Not overly keen on the live laughter tracks either.

If the show needs to tell you when it's being funny, it isn't.

I grew up with cats. When I was younger I didn't like dogs. Now I like them more, but if I owned one I'm not sure I could deal with picking up poop.

LI guess. Like a movie doesn't have to constantly try to subvert my expectations or make me wonder which direction it will jump for me to like. Just write it and shoot it well. Like Solo.. I felt comfortable in the movie that I was watching even though I kind of knew how the story might play out, I just enjoyed actually seeing it play out

How people can inject themselves with botulinum toxin is beyond me. But if it helps with migraines, maybe it's not so bad.

I've been suffering from migraine all my life but I'd never inject myself with botulinum. There is a reason why it is labelled a toxin. I want my nerves fully functioning within normal parameters, neither acting up (migraine) nor disabled/killed (botulinum).
Sounds a bit crazy but against milder attacks of migraine I use a remedy I found in a Georgette Heyer novel of all places: a strip of fresh lemon peel on my forehead or temple. It cools and soothes. It's also very good against sinusitis-induced headaches.

Back in those times, armies took long trips on foot just to get to the field of battle, they were followed by all sorts of civilians, including cooks for example and also whores; So I guess someone could use that to put nudity or even porn in that story.

according to the legend she was burnt at the stakes wearing a white linnen shift. That'd have burnt before her body did, considering that human bodies consist of more than 70% water. But a nude body with 100% skin damage would be sexy only to an extremely small percentage of watchers. Or so I thoroughly hope..

According to legend, her last word was "Jesus.". However, I don't think they show her burn in any of the movies. That usually happens off-camera. I think they used to put grease on the clothes so that she would be surrounded by flames and smoke, by the time the flames subsided all that was left of her would have been unidentifiable.

I think there’s a difference between saying the ending was predictable and saying the way you got there was completely predictable.

Seeing a movie and guessing the good guys win is not the same as guessing practically every line before it’s spoken.

The problem with movies nowadays is that even when they have a surprise ending, word about it leaks out even before the film hits the big screen!

OTOH, if you're shooting a comedy in front of a live audience and nobody laughs, that might be a bigger problem...
