News The Falcon and the Winter Soldier Updates

It occurs to me that the MCU versions of Sam and Helmut are more evenly matched in at least one area: psychological skills. Zemo in psychological warfare, Sam in psychological therapy...
Oh, nice observation. We haven't seen anything of Sam's group therapy since The Winter Soldier, but hopefully the showrunners remember that part of the character and focus on it again for precisely that counterbalance.

Yeah, it would have been kinda creepy to have him end up getting together with both of them.

I do have to mention that I once knew a guy who divorced one sister and then married another with full approval of the family, including his ex / her sister.

If Steve Rogers married Peggy Carter was it with his real name or did he marry her with the name say on the uniform in Endgame. Think about it, young Sharon Carter goes to family events. Her Aunt Peggy is married to this handsome older gentleman. Peggy being Peggy, she doesn’t take his name. Younger Sharon developers a little crush on this older gentleman. Later on then she’s recruited into Shield and assigned to a young Captain Steve Rogers and there is something about him that she’s attracted to. Not realizing who it really is. Wacky right.

I would like it if Steve used the alias “Grant Gardner”. That was the name Captain America had in the 40s movie serial. Which very unfaithful to the comics. But noteworthy as not only Captain America’s first appearance outside of comics but also first Marvel adaptation in other media.

That would probably depend on which side of the alternate timeline/secretly living in the main timeline debate you land on.
I fall on the alternate timeline side, so I'd say he just uses his real name.

Steve has to have spent his time with Peggy in an alternate timeline. Where else did the shield that he gave to Sam come from? Thanos destroyed Steve's original shield.

My theory is that Steve used his knowledge of the future to create a reality in which Bucky was rescued early, Hydra was taken down and the hero's and the galaxy had enough forewarning of the Thanos threat that they were able to take him down before he could gather the stones.

It's like Peggy once told him, "sometimes the best you can do is to start over".

Hey, if the POTUS can hold the titles President, Chief Executive, Head of State, Commander in Chief, and Grand Wizard of America all at once, I don't see why Sam can't be The Falcon and Captain America, at least for a bit. :p

He did use a costume that was a combination of the two while he was Captain America in the comics, so I have feeling they'll probably do the same thing on Falcon and Winter Soldier, and any movies he appears in after Endgame.

Good design overall, but that belt buckle has to be kept out of the outfit that Mackie's wearing.
