We definitely get some, although I don’t think we get all the same ones that you do. The recent Peanut Butter Pie version was fantastic. Just this week I picked up the new Dark Chocolate variety, although I haven’t tried them yet.

There’s a booth at the local flea market that actually brings a bunch of US-only products up here to sell. I don’t go there often, but I have got a few different Oreo versions there from time to time that were never available up here in stores.

But yeah, I basically have to try every new version I find in the grocery store... even though I try not to eat cookies frequently, so it usually takes me FOREVER to get through a package.

I have a bit of an Oreo problem... :shifty:

Thanks to the magic of Wikipedia, I know now there was once an amusing form of White Coke.

Fresca was always an....acquired taste. I never could stand it.

When did you first try Dr. Pepper? I honestly can't remember how long ago they started screwing around with the formula, but I liked it fine at one time. Pibb is mostly what Dr. Pepper used to be, which is why I always have some Pibb in the fridge.

Cherry Pepsi has been my main goto soda pretty much since it came out in 1988. I can;t remember the last time I had a regular ol' Pepsi.

I think it was 2006 on my first trip to Canada.

Don't think I've seen Cherry Pepsi here though the same goes for Cherry Coke. Like Pepsi lime but that can be hard to find. In fact there seem to be a lot of flavours that don't seem to make over the border.

Hereabouts, Cherry Pepsi is almost as widely available as regular Pepsi. I can't remember a store that didn't have it, either 12 pack or 24 pack. I see those other odd flavors, like the lime, just not as often or in large amounts in the store.

Most gas stations and Walgreens have Cherry Pepsi & regular Pepsi in the coolers, but obviously more of the regular than anything.

What's hard to find is a place that carries all available Mt. Dew varieties at any given time.

I've seen Cherry Pepsi available in Canada. Thing is, not everywhere will carry it, so it's highly dependent on where you go and makes it much harder to find. Some convenience stores just really suck when it comes to selection and mostly just stick with the common staples while others are more varied. I don't know why that is though. I've had it, and I prefer Cherry Coke. It's way too sweet and artificial tasting.

Vanilla Coke was the best. I wish they'd bring that back full time.

I've seen Wild Cherry Pepsi available much more frequently over the last few years. Just recently saw that they now have a Diet Wild Cherry Pepsi too.

Back before I gave up pop, Cherry Coke was one of my favourites. It's been available around here for years, but back then it was very intermittent. It would be plentiful for a while, then disappear for long stretches at a time, before eventually reappearing. The trick was to stock up as much as possible when it was available, because the lulls were long and unforgiving. Lately it seems to be available all the time, though.

The worst were the Mountain Dew flavours, which were never available up here. I remember asking people who were travelling to the States if they could pick some up for me, because it was the only way to get them. Of course, now they are plentiful around here... now that I can't drink them! :scream:

The new limited edition flavours that I've been seeing in stores within the last month are Berry and Mango for Pepsi, and Georgia Peach and B.C. Raspberry for Coke (in the retro bottles).

Yea it's pretty common. Same goes with Cherry Dr. Pepper, about as close as I can find to Cherry Coke now.

    Dang :(.

I don't think I've really seen much in the way of Pepsi variants here (Normal, Max and Diet seems to be about it,)

In the local stores, Coke, Diet Coke and Cherry seem to be the most popular, though some others do appear. I think I only see Dr Pepper in one store though (I don't often look as it's not my style). I think I've seen Mountain Dew about once.

As for normal Coke/Pepsi, the storesnear us seem to be moving away from the bigger bottles and limiting them to 1.5 Litre. (Diet/Max ect can still be easily found in 2 to 3 litre bottles though)

I had Cherry Coke for the first time in the U.S a few years back and my in-laws brought some back (both the regular and the Zero variety). Found some in the local Wal-Mart a few months back but seemed to be a one off as they haven't had anymore. Same for Vanilla Coke. Love the full thing but generally drink the Zero version.

Last time the in-laws came back form the U.S they brought use some Coke Orange (6 pack of the 500ml bottles). I like but the wife doesn't.

But also have recently seen the Coke Lime in the individual bottles but paying $2 a bottle isn't fun. The wife loves it and wished it was more common.

I hadn’t even heard of that one before now. Sounds like it would be something I would have liked.

Anyone remember Cherry Crush? It was really good, but it was only ever around for a month or so, some years ago. I don’t know whether it was planned as limited, or it was a new launch that failed (or maybe a trial that didn’t go to full production).

Of course, my all time favourite was Pepsi Blue. I loved that stuff, but IIRC, it was very polarizing. I would totally break my rule if it made a comeback!

    I miss pop...

I always felt that that one was kind of redundant? Always felt the most dominant flavour which they marketed for awhile was black cherry. So, the Cherry Dr Pepper comes across as a much sweeter version.

Local Burger Kings and the closest Wendy's to me have that fancy soda machine you do your own refills. I like to go with orange Mello Yello.

Subway have them here so I make Vanilla Pepsi.

At McDonalds where they're just the straight drinks I do a 90% Coke Zero/10% regular coke.

Ah. Never saw that version before. Probably wouldn't be a fan either, as I find black cherry too be too strong a flavor. Kind of overpowers things. It's actually pretty balanced in my opinion. Cherry Coke used to be that way until they made it like cough syrup. Now it's too sweet.

No, I mean as its default flavor. Always came across as Black Cherry to me. I swear that at one time it was marketed that way, but maybe I'm wrong. It's why I kind of feel it's funny to see them market Cherry Dr Pepper.

I've been a Dr Pepper addict for years (stress on that word, since I actually had caffeine withdrawal for several weeks this winter during and after spending time in the hospital and having chronic headaches and dizziness that none of the doctors or nurses could explain - not one of them thought to ask if I'd gone off caffeine and I only figured it out by a Google search after seeing a conversation here about someone who had similar symptoms after quitting coffee suddenly).

After awhile I found out that the diet version of some of my favorite kinds of pop are available and allowed, so I abandoned being caffeine-free... and thank goodness diet Dr Pepper isn't too awful.

I loved Vanilla Coke (you can make your own by adding vanilla extract to regular Coke, but it's expensive given the price of vanilla extract unless you go for the cheap synthetic stuff - which doesn't taste right anyway).

Someone on one of my forums offered to send me a case of Vanilla Coke. I had to say thank you for the offer, but do you realize that we live thousands of miles apart in different countries, and I'm not sure it would be allowed across the border - not to mention that I don't think Canada Post delivers pop?.

One of the tastiest flavors of pop I ever found was by some company I never heard of before and can't remember. I just recall that my local corner store carried it - cherry-chocolate cola. It was good! But alas, I haven't seen it again in over 25 years. :(

Cherry Coke is good (there was an amusing typo on one of my grocery receipts years ago, stating that I'd bought "Cheery Coke").

In fact, right now I'm partway through a can of Diet Fiesty Cherry Coke (sold in cases of 8, and are only 310 mL cans, rather than 355 mL). Walmart had them, along with Diet Strawberry and Diet Blueberry. When I realized that their stock wasn't being replenished, it seemed these have been discontinued - shame that, since I really like the blueberry flavor. The only ones left were the cherry flavor, so I cleaned them out - 5 cases, so I have enough to last awhile, along with my one remaining case of blueberry.

Vanilla Coke and Raspberry Coke were available here last year for a short time (and an insane price). I hadn't tried Raspberry before and found it okay.

Pepsi Blue was disgusting. It smelled and tasted like cough syrup, and I hated it so much that after asking my mother (who worked in a convenience store at the time) if I was the only person who hated it and she said no, it wasn't selling in her store and was just taking up space, I contacted customer service and told them that there were a bunch of people in Central Alberta who didn't like Pepsi Blue.

I'm sure it was just a coincidence that the vile stuff disappeared from the stores here within the next month...

    Cherry chocolate? That sounds great!

What makes it "fiesty"? I've never heard of diet strawberry or diet blueberry either, although the blueberry one certainly sounds good. (Not a huge fan of strawberry.)

    That was you?!? ( ;) )

See what I mean, polarizing! It seemed to be one of those things that you either adored it, or detested it. I was firmly in the "adore" camp (and knew some others there as well), but there were a fair number of people who couldn't believe how much I loved it.

Pepsi Blue: much like the Game of Thrones, there is no middle ground!

"Cheery Coke" calls to mind the classic cherry-flavored Cheerwine soda from the southern USA.
