Whenever the cheese comes out of the fridge, my cat expects a piece of it. So I put a piece on the counter and had him jump up to get it. One of his paws landed directly on the cheese and he couldn't find it. Kept looking around without moving.
Monday this week my mom had to take her 22-year-old cat, Trouble, for his final vet visit. I was there with him as he drifted off and we stayed with him for a while after he was gone. I'm going to miss that little guy. We were all watching the South Park episode, "Cartman Gets an Anal Probe" on its first airing soon after my parents adopted him and his adopted brother, Frankie, as kittens. They lost Frankie quite a few years back from cancer. I was with him when he drifted away at the same vet, as well.
Oh, I'm sorry, @Scribble . That's so sad. 22 years is a very long life for a cat. You're lucky to have had him so long. I'll bet he was a great companion.
beautiful cat. Looks like a Russian Blue. had a g/f years ago who had one of those. Only got to go outside on a leash.
