Spare me Rick Moranis, but give me as much Annie Potts as humanly possible.
I heard that in Bill Murray’s voice. They gotta go national. Ghosts from coast to coast and the President's an idiot.
Now I can't unhear it.I heard that in Bill Murray’s voice.
There are ghosts from coast to coast *because* the president is an idiot.
I heard that in Bill Murray’s voice.
Honestly, having the original cast doesn’t do much for me. I mean, I saw Ghostbusters 2. They brought everyone back for that and...
Jason Reitman's a better director than his father. His dramas all got shit reviews (Labor Day, Men, Women & Children, The Front Runner), but he's yet to make a bad comedy (Thank You For Smoking, Juno, Up in the Air, Young Adult, Tully). I think he can pull this off. We'll see, though.
One issue is I am not sure if this is even going to be set in New York. I kind of like the idea that they are a wife/husband ghostbuster team that go town to town busting ghosts. They discover the new kids and contact our heroes to help the kids. They have all been living in a secret underground bunker for decades studying ghost stuff that will come in handy later in the movie. JasonI hope Rick Moranis comes back. I want Jeanine to be the new Mayor with him as her assistant or Attorney General. They are still a thing.
I wonder if this means she'll have to take a break from Young Sheldon for a while?
Has a series or franchise ever "unbooted" itself before? Usually a reboot is the end of the original, one way or another.
but it feels like it happens a lot that later sequels have completely ignored some of the previous movies while keeping earlier iterations
