Not only that but he would have made them useful members of the crew. He had a knack for integrating misfits.
Sybok and the Misfits could've been the band's name.

I just hope they won't play the Vulcan harp, lute or whatever...And if they do then at least let it be electric!!
So...classic Star Trek then. You have to twist yourself into pretzels for this backstory to make sense.
It can be doneSeriously? Spock friggin' rocks. His lyre has dials, so it must be electric.
In that reality it appears they went with Khan over a 'Control' A.I.I am wondering. Doesn't Nero's intervention, IE killing Kirk's father and all, give Control another chance to get the sphere data, in as much as it cancels out everything that follows that event?
Maybe the Giant Green space Hand swatted Control out of that timeline.I am wondering. Doesn't Nero's intervention, IE killing Kirk's father and all, give Control another chance to get the sphere data, in as much as it cancels out everything that follows that event?

It doesn't make sense that for twenty years or so he would have lived close to her and never spoke to her, resented her for one conversation, and never admit that maybe she had some extenuating circumstances for acting that way, only to forgive her a couple of months after their reunion.
This describes nearly perfectly my brother and sister. Both lived in the same house for 18 years, the last nine of which, they spent barely acknowledging one another's presence. They didn't reconnect until after my sister finished school which was about 5 years later.I take it you're an only child?(In all seriousness, their situation IE two family member not speaking for years, isn't that uncommon.
...
They were simply unable to find common ground until both joined the same religious sect.
....
Humans are not that simple. That's a terrible price to pay just to talk to your sibling. You're sure there isn't a less drastic way, like each losing an arm and a leg?

As was I.Well, I was being sarcastic.

They didn't join the religion in order to reconnect, they both happened to join and as a result ,reconnected.
BTW, I hope this isn't all you got from my post because this definitely was not the main point I was trying to make.![]()
