    Concur. The rank braid also looks terrible.

    I actually think the drawings look OK, but that design doesnt seem to translate well into physical reality.

    Memory lane: When i was first trying to visualize my fanfic reboot of trek I drew the uniforms my crew would wear and posted them in the art forum. They had a few patches on the jerseys because I have no problem with patches. (They're a military staple, and Starfleet My Way is a military organizaton.)

    Most of the commenters had a visceral negative reaction to the patches. I see nothing has changed.

    Like I said, I don't have problem with them. What I do have a problem with is, like most Axanar visuals, the design is completely wrong for the time it's supposed to be set in. Getting rid of the patches alone won't fix that.

    Just saw this......can't believe cons are still booking him in. If I was in Georgia this weekend I think I'd rather be at Kingsland myself. I also thought Axacon was NOT a success as it piggybacked on SphinxCon.

    When he says not everyone loves Alec the way he does, I couldn't help but wonder how much longer that will last. It seems like Alec has managed to alienate pretty much everyone else who's gotten involved with him, so it's gotta be inevitable that he's going to piss of Lane at some point.

    Yes he did say series. And as much as I LOVE TMP the costuming was the worst part of that film IMHO. The patches on the field jacket in TWOK don't count because it's not part of the standard duty uniform either great examples though.
