Maybe because, as I said when I brought this up in the Captain Marvel movie thread, that it's absolutely the stupidest thing I've heard all day?

 

Only the stupidest in the last 15 minutes for me... I read a Fox News comment earlier today.

People have such a hard on of hate for this woman.

 

Her movie made over a billion dollars, so I guess its not too many people lol

Anyone feel bad for Larson? She should be enjoying the peak of her career with starring roles in mega movies. Instead she is having to deal with complete nonsense... I hope her costars are being supportive.

I was actually iterating a lot of my girlfriend's thoughs, at least the ones I agreed with.

She hated the scene more than I did.

 

Gee, a scene with a bunch of women takes up pages and pages of whining from the butthurt.

Funny, how often it's the girlfriend who said it soon comes along when the word feminism pops up.

I didn't read the other reviews in this thread because I've been around long enough to know that's a recipe for taking all the joy out of something you like.

I loved this movie. I thought it was fun, funny, filled with great battle scenes, lots of pay-off for the loyal fans, and pretty much lived up to its hype. Peggy Carter is my all time favorite Marvel character so I LOVED the Captain America ending--he deserves that! Tony the Tin-Man got a heart, the Hulk got a brain, Thor found his courage, and Captain Marvel WAS the tornado.

I'll see it again.

 

I still mourning Black Widow and the first Gamora, they felt by far the saddest deaths in Infinity War and Endgame.

 

I love this so much.

You're either implying I'm lying or that woman can't roll their eyes at this stuff too. She told me she'd break up with me if I took her to see the new Ghostbusters where the original is her favourite comedy. Her rants on Harley Quinn and even Spider-Gwen amuse me to no end. She's pretty awesome like that.

Woman can hate on this stuff just as easily, it's funny how people have to put their "it's sexist" shields up at the first sign of criticism.
