Looking back, I think it was better than Clone Wars. Much less filler and more thought provoking.I hadn't seen "Rebels" yet. Is it as good as "Clone Wars?"

I was disappointed when Filoni (I think it was him) said later on that Anakin was still the Chosen One. I'm sticking with what Obi Wan thinks!I find it interesting that Obi-Wan came to believe that Luke was the actual Chosen One, probably how he managed to hold onto hope for so long in the desert.
One of the best duels in Star Wars period.Maul is gone, here’s his last appearance in the canon not too long before A New Hope.

The one big gap we still have in regards to Maul is how he went from where he was in Solo to where he was in Rebels, but I don't see Rise of Skywalker filling in those gaps.Agreed. There is nothing in Solo that deserves to be ignored and Maul's story is sufficiently wrapped up.

From a certain point of view. From another point of view Anakin was still being a selfish prick like he always has. It was Luke who set the stage and put Vader in that position to kill the Emperor. No Luke doing what needs to be done, no saved Galaxy and no balanced Force.Except Anakin fulfilled the prophecy in ROTJ. Luke didn’t. So Obi-Wan was wrong.
Yeah you're wrong. Sorry. From a certain point of view. From another point of view Anakin was still being a selfish prick like he always has. It was Luke who set the stage and put Vader in that position to kill the Emperor. No Luke doing what needs to be done, no saved Galaxy and no balanced Force.
Lucas is a Sith Lord. He lied and retconned the truth away.Yeah you're wrong. Sorry.
Filoni would never contradict George Lucas. He always intended Obi-Wan to be wrong.
Filoni was George's Padawan. He would never contradict him. He treats his work as sacrosanct.Lucas is a Sith Lord. He lied and retconned the truth away.
Filoni treats George as his mentor. He would never contradict him.
Hell LucasFilm period isn't retconning anything Lucas has done, even the stupid stuff.
Here's the thing about interpreting prophecy: it all depends on context. If the criteria for "Chosen One" are 1) Born of no father and 2) brings balance to the force, then really speaking that could apply to either Anakin or Luke, or BOTH. Anakin literally had no father and Luke was (figuratively speaking) also born without a father and both of them together had a vital hand in bringing balance to the force.
