THE ORVILLE S2, E13: "TOMORROW, AND TOMORROW, AND TOMORROW"

I get it, but like I said, we don't need to see what Bortus and
I don't need to Game of Thrones, Walking Dead it over the next 32 episodes.

I totally agree we don't need to see more of Bortus and Klydan working through that. Ugh. Seen too much! And, agree, I'm thoroughly against moping around in my SF!

However, Bortus and Klydan have nothing to do with GoT. GoT would not do something that utterly boring. Yes, something that dysfunctional, and worse, but never boring! Yes, I'm a fan! :)

I am probably one of the few that even likes Bortus and Klydan, they're a cute couple, and I like that they aren't perfect.
GoT= WAY too much information and everything else. The books were better.

I actually liked them as a couple in season 1. I still like Bortus, but I cannot stand Klydan. He's too backwards for my taste. And, yeah, I get that's the point. But, ugh, you put the two of them together, and it was just explored too much for me, and I can't stand them as a couple, and particularly not Klydan!

Maybe someday I'll read the books, but for now I'm loving the GoT HBO series! And, if you stick only to the books, you won't know how it ends! :)

Didn't Klydan used to be female? Like when he was born? I think that's why he is so anti-female. I think he is over compensating. I think deep down he wants to dress in pretty colors and frills. But he knows that he can't show that side of himself because society will shun him, or lock him in prison or what ever they do on Moclan.
GoT ends when they are overrun by the tribes from the east.:(

I think he was female. And, I suppose overcompensation is a great explanation. Although, I think he fits in perfectly with the Moclan norms.

Spoilers! You just gave away the end of GoT!!!!

Something else I just noticed ... is this episode the first time we find out that Kelly's background is as a science officer?

(And: Why, exactly, does the Orville have a bunch of jets positioned to be able to spray water all over its exterior surfaces? What is the intended purpose ... some kind of self-cleaning feature or something?)

It means that the events of the previous episode are forgotten--as if they never happened. Things were left in a very bad state in the previous episode between them, but here they are fine.

maybe dancing is a very big part of Moclan culture.

Though also Brotus has complained about klyden's lack of socialising with the rest of the crew so maybe the later was trying to change (or Bortus had given him a very big push).

It's also not at ALL impossible for a couple to have major problems but also still have a great time together. If that weren't true, breakups and divorces would be a lot easier.
