There's also "Sunnydale Syndrome" that the show jokingly used to explain everyone noticing weird things all the time, but just ignoring it. It's become a wider term for any franchise where a community in a horror setting just repress and move on.
Are you going to go through the comics too, or just stop at the end of the shows? Joss Whedon wrote a lot of the Season 8-12 Buffy comics himself, and I believe at least had a little bit of input in the first arc or two of the post-finale Angel comics.
I read the first three or four collections of the Buffy Season 8 comics, and they were really good. I would not look at them, or the Angel comics until you finish the TV series though, because even the descriptions will spoil the ends of the shows.
This is pretty good, but it does have a few weird spots. There are only couple of episodes where you should watch episodes in order. And probably by that time you need some change anyway.
This viewing guide is for watching maximum amount of episodes from either series in a row, so minimum amount of service or disc switching: http://buffyfest.blogspot.com/2009/04/buffyangel-episode-watching-guide.html?m=1
I’m not a comic book reader so I’m just going through the shows.
The scene shows nicely that the government is aware of the supernatural.Out of Mind...Out of Sight was another pretty good episode. The themes of this show are still being dealt with today, such as bullying, popularity, and other things school kids go through on a day in and day out basis. It was nice to finally get a Cordelia episode, considering she's in the main credits, but has really been a side character up to this point. They somewhat humanized her, even though she's still a jerk. If I had one complaint, it was I wish the direction they went with Marcie was a little more sympathetic than turning her into a psycho. The stuff with the FBI at the very end was interesting and makes me think this is a story that might be followed up on. Of course this show being 22 years old, I probably shouldn't speculate that much but I wouldn't mind if there was a follow up.

I don't really see where it's that much of an issue as long as they're on the same streaming service, but then again I very rarely watch more than one episode of a show at a time, so I might just be weird. I usually watch a handful of shows at a time, just go from one to the next in a rotation. Right now I'm working on Farscape, Legacies, and Lucifer.
Just a humorous side note on the ages of actors hired to play high school kids.
The characters were all supposed to be 16 years old, high school sophomores, when the show began.
Sarah Michelle Geller was the youngest of the cast at 20.
Allyson Hannigan was 23.
Nick Brendon was 25.
Charisma Carpenter was the oldest teenager at 27.
Carry on.![]()

Cordelia's evolution from her very first appearance to her very last was pretty big. She really does change a lot as time goes on.For the record, Cordelia becomes one of my favorite characters, right behind Willow and Buffy.

I honestly didn't even realize that that actually has kind of a second meaning with her until after I wrote it.
