Po, Spock, and dilithium recrystallization

The entire franchise is just one long illusion that started when Pike was captured.

Except for ENT which happened before Pike was captured. That one is a Holodec program created by Riker. Buf if Riker is part of Talosian illusion.then never mind.

Kelvin timeline is before Pike capture too, Talosians may have created the Kelvin timeline to give Pike a different illusion about his fate.

ENT is taken from Pike's history classes. Kelvin is as you say Pike living out a different life, like the Orion Trader.

Someone who didn't like either Sarek or Amanda said:

"Sarek is a dick and Amanda is a dyke!"

I asked:

"So....what you're saying is that if there was a transporter malfunction that blended the two, it would be Dick Van Dyke?"

Spock talked about cloaking devices being theoretical in "Balance of Terror"

hmm doesn't seem theoretical to me....

Spock now knows that there is a process in which it's possible to recrystallize dilithium, but I didn't hear Po actually tell him exactly how to do it.
Thus it's just theoretical to him.

In fact I don't believe that Po told anybody except Tilly that she could do it and Tilly just now let it slip that Po invented a way to do it.
Po apparently hasn't even told her own people yet.

Also, Spock is probably aware that the Klingons have cloaking technology, but he doesn't know how it works nor has it been shown that he's actually seen it in action.
Again, to him, up until the time the Romulan BOP begins attacking the outposts and then decloaks and attacks the Enterprise, in his mind it is still just theoretical.

As an elderly gentleman once said...

"Luke, you’re going to find that many of the truths we cling to depend greatly on our own point of view.” / “The truth is often what we make of it; you heard what you wanted to hear, believed what you wanted to believe”
