No, not really.
I'm not sure I'd call the overall layout a "60's design" outside of the fact it was designed in the 60's. The look of the original screams 60's definitely.
It still has the flying saucer chic from the original, to me. combined with the chairs and ze blinkenlights.
I seen it from outside. I pass it in the mall all the time and laugh at all the apple fanboyz ogling latest overpriced crap that Apple puts out.Have any trekkies ever seen an Apple store?

That's a bit pedantic - I think "the 60s design" here was clearly shorthand for "the original design" or "the bridge that was first designed in the 1960s" rather than denoting some kind of style associated with the era.
If the DSC lighting were removed or turned off,would it look closer to TOS?
That was what I meant, yes. It was made in an era of atomic and space age bravado and it shows. Still, it's not churned out by some non-existent populuxe design studio. I will admit that I think there are hints of Googie in some of the TOS set pieces; hints though, not rules. If someone told me Raymond Loewy designed the phasers as door handles for the Studebaker Avanti, I might want to believe them. Ultimately TOS is its own design theme. It borrows of course, but not terribly. It's a thing of its own, and I think that has a lot to do with its popularity, though nostalgia cannot be discounted.
I do have to point out that in the original "Cage" (and in WNMHGB) there were no colored resin buttons; they were the rectangular aircraft style buttons. The only colored resin was the little round lights.
That's not relevant because this series takes place some years after "The Cage." The bridge instrumentation could have been upgraded and the color scheme changed days after Pike returned from Talos.
Then we'd have to put WNMHGB before "The Cage" as well. Weren't many of the bridge (and transporter) consoles outfitted with the same aircraft buttons?

True, there was no change in the instrumentation between "The Cage" and "WNMHGB".
I love the bridge. Honestly, it might be among my favorites in any era. However, I had an interesting experience when watching 2x13 with my partner, who isn't sure about the difference betwee Kirk and Pike but has been patiently watching Discovery with his Trek-loving boyfriend. (Honestly, I think he's turning into a closet fan. After we work through Battlestar Galactica, I think we'll give Deep Space Nine a go.)
Anyway, he couldn't pick the original Enterprise bridge out of a line-up, but he did react when the camera pulled back to reveal the reimagined bridge. "Oh God!" he said. "It looks like something out of the 60s!" Apparently despite the changes, something in its design language is successfully enough in sync with the original that people who don't know the show can sense it. Just thought that was interesting.

That's something I love about this bridge and the Enterprise corridors we saw: it isn't slavishly recreating the 1966 set, but has enough visual cues and the essence of the original to not be jarring to people who want to see TOS style in the current production style. You can look at it and know it's aboard the Enterprise.
My SO had pretty similar reaction.
