Contest: ENTER April 2019 Art Challenge - "Oops A Daisy!"

Welcome to April's Art Challenge!

Our heroes almost always manage to save the day - sometimes only by the skin of their teeth (and with a lot of technobabble) - or get to the end of the episode in one piece without a bathroom break or a hair out of place, but what if they didn't?

This month's art challenge is to depict a Star Trek something that didn't quite go to plan. For example: what if Nurse Chapel hadn't dodged that Spock-propelled plomeek soup bowl? What if Scotty hadn't managed to get the spacedoors open before the Enterprise reversed into them? What if Sisko hadn't managed to convince the Prophets to dispose of the Dominion fleet before they exited the Celestial Temple?

The size and scope of the "Oops!" is up to you, and you can illustrate something that was (just) avoided on-screen, in TrekLit, or from your own Trekmagination. The only "Oops!" that won't be accepted is "Oops! I ran out of time to create something this month."

You have until Wednesday 1st May to submit your artwork - Yes, I'm taking a day from May because we're just about a week into April already, and May is one of the longest months and can cope with the loss

Here are the rules (from the Art Challenge Guidelines):

• the artwork you submit should be created during the month of the challenge (you've got the 1st of May, too)
  
• only one final image can be submitted (although it may contain multiple views)
• your final entry should be posted in this thread (although dedicated WIP threads are appreciated)

I don't think I'm going to have time to do the other three "malfunctions" I mentioned in my art thread (one of which embodies the TToT as mentioned above, but for a male), so here's my entry:

I hope everyone else has got an idea that can be in a finished enough state by the 1st May? I'm looking forward to seeing what you all come up with.

Deadline is midnight(ish) tomorrow, Wednesday 1st May (although, I won't be here until Thursday morning UK time, so there's a little wiggle room depending upon where you are in the world). The minute I get my work laptop and ipad when I finally get a teaching job, I'm gonna download one of those artistic software. I can say I'll use it for educational purpose...which would be technically true.

Ha hah! These are great! @Starscape, Lester-Kirk's struggling pose is brilliant, and Spock's expression spot on. And, @Michael, remind me not to let those workbee oafs try and fix my car!

@Finn, well, I guess you'll have to teach yourself how to use them, so yes, they'd be serving their purpose
