The least disliked episode of TOS - Final Round

BlueStuff

Rear Admiral
Rear Admiral
Here we have the winners and runners up of each season:

Season One: Where No Man Has Gone Before
Wild Card: The City on the Edge of Forever
Season Two: Mirror, Mirror
Wild Card: The Doomsday Machine
Season Three: The Tholian Web
Wild Card: The Enterprise Incident

So now it is time for the final part.

*RULES*

Give what you consider to be the worst/your least favourite episode ONE point, and briefly explain WHY. Be sure to copy and paste the list with your point added. When an episode reaches 4 points, it is eliminated. Then a NEW round begins (in this thread) with the numbers restored to 0. Vote ONCE per round. If 48 hours without a vote passes, the episode currently leading in points will be eliminated, and a new round will begin. And enjoy! :bolian:

I'll start by giving a point to "Where No Man Has Gone Before." It's not really the episodes fault, but for me it's the weakest of these just by it's (re)pilot nature -- the later installments are stronger, simply because by that point everyone involved had gotten a better handle on what worked and what didn't.

Enterprise Incident takes a hit. It has some interesting scenes in it, but the way the Romulan commander totally goofs up is pure soap opera stuff.

“Mirror Mirror” is just dumb. Fun, but dumb.

The Enterprise Incident - Great Spock, Scotty and Kirk episode, but even as a kid, I never could buy the whole secret mission thing.

I love all of these episodes here, so I guess I vote for WNMHGB by default. It's just about the weakest episode.

The Spock/McCoy friction was just too hot for me in the Tholian Web. McCoy was a big jerk. You'd think they would be kinder to each other after their best friend just died.

Tholian Web. The lost Defiant, Kirk being presumed dead, the Tholians... It just tries to do too much.

I am not a fan of The Enterprise Incident. Kirk's opening behavior is over the top, and the Romulan commander's actions are ridiculous. Moreover, the episode is actually boring in many parts.

Time to give City a ding. It's overhyped. And I've never been a fan of episodes that greatly take place in the 20th century. Not enough action. "Oh, it's so emotional." Meh.

@johnnybear, if you or someone new doesn't vote for Enterprise Incident, then I can't vote again for 36 more hours...per regulations. (@BlueStuff, using TWOK Starfleet regulations, the 48 hour limit is actually 48 minutes, so, maybe I can vote again.)

I'll take TEI out :) It has it's moments, and I like the Romulan Commander quite a bit, but I was never too into the spy/disguise stuff on Star Trek (dislike it on TNG too) and out of these it's my clear least favorite
