Hope he gets a more regular role and can hop off the trainwreck TWD has become. It can't be fun for them, splitting work between Georgia and Ontario.

I'm guessing now that Burnham's parents were Section 31 agents that Leland disposed of because they were about to tell everyone about the agency, or something.
Maybe he'll be our up till now unseen chief engineer or chief medical officer. Although at this point I'm just assuming Pollard is chief doctor and Nilsson, Sara Mitich's new character, is chief engineer.
Okay, time for my final theory before the big reveal: It's Mirror Georgiou.
Why?
Here we go... she loves her daughter Michael, even though it's not "her" Michael. She couldn't bare to exist in the universe without her, so rewrote time to ensure she lived and rose to a prominent position in Starfleet.
Of course, this leads to a paradox where Michael rescued her from the Mirror Universe "before" she existed in the Prime universe... but I'm going to far as to predict nonsense temporal bollocks that doesn't make sense. This also goes some way toward redeeming Georgiou since she's presumably lives for many, many years (possibly centuries, if the technology in the suit is sufficiently advanced), witnessed the apocalypse and dedicated her life towards undoing it.

That's my theory too.
Note when they were on the Sec31 base there were apple cores floating in amongst the bodies, I posted a pic of that. Georgiou must have been there trying to mess up Control but got out before the murder and chaos happened.
My final guess is Amanda but I think it could also be Georgiou
I guess an hour or two from now, we'll know. I still say Zora.
