Favorite Enterprise Weapon

iliescu

Lieutenant Commander
Red Shirt
Stun Baton
Stun Grenade
Phase Pistol
Phase Rifle
EM Pistol - EM 33
Class 3 Plasma Rifle
Pulse Rifle
Particle Launcher

My Favorite is the Phase Rifle

There is also the Cold War Arc weapons which can also be in the list...

Their choice of Dark and White makes this best for arms selection as the tones suit the material at hand.

Phase pistol. Love the design. In general, I like weapons that are easier to conceal and portable.

The Lasers.....oh wait :(

The pulse rifle, pulse canons in the pilot (never seen again), plasma canon, spatial torpedoes. Anything that doesn't sound like a copy of 24th Century weapons.
The grappler was pretty cool too when used as a weapon. That could have been cool for ship to ship combat in the romulan war.

I liked the Xindi weapons, especially from the Reptilians and Insectoids.

I know it won't ever happen, but I would love to see the Xindi in Discovery.

There was a Denobulan in the mess hall in an early episode, and the Xindi were namedropped in the last movie, so you never know...

I like the plasma rifle the best - after it gets the phaser overbarrel. A perfect mix of the old and clumsy and the new and potentially unreliable! That is, the phaser beam works fine, but I'm sure the troopers next to Reed and his phase pistol are happy to be gripping things their moms and dads successfully blasted bug-eyed monsters with.

It's a fine example of diversity there, and somewhat rare by Trek standards. Note the scope on the gun of the guy behind Reed's left shoulder, too.

It's cool that DSC is doing this multibarrel thing as well, maintaining the impression that it only gradually went out of fashion between "Where No Man" and TOS proper. Plus it's the perfect excuse for thinking that yes, Joe Tyler did fire a laser at that elevator door. After trying the phaser barrel of his gun first...

i don't think so... Capt. Archer (Steve Bakula) is the one of most imortant person in this movie but he makes many mistakes of his tactical, and first contantact, for example becaouse of his beagle (it's second season). So that's why he isn"t any weapon. He's ambassador.

Of course I mean Scott Bakula, it' my first day on this forum, and i'm drunk (just a little, but english isn't my native language)

Do You know what I think about it? Languages are stupid. Dogs barking in the same languages all around the world. Why people cant do it?
It's so many think's that's I wanna say, but i cant, becaouse i don't know enough words. It's so annoying...
For example:
"We have bad weather today. Its cold and rainy."
In my native language its:
"Mamy dzisiaj złą pogode. Jest zimno i pada."
Try to say it. Its hard....

Talosian cannon used to blow open the door.
But I'm guessing it's a single shot disposable because they only used it once.

If they are different weapons, then why are all the beams identical? Hmm.
It would be nice if the phaser had a blue beam.
