Was she really "supposed" to be on it, or were they just playing Damage Control to placate Twitter babies?
As much as I love Danai Gurira, her character isn't "big enough" to have a significant role (even though she's the only meaningful surviving Wakandan we know) and Gurira, popular as she is from The Walking Dead, doesn't quite have the weight to get billed along side the major names of the Avengers cast.
Her name on the poster isn't a simple as some just putting it there, it's dictated by contracts and negotiations.
The problem is she's visible front and center in the poster and was the only person not name checked. That's why it was an issue.
If her role is "insignificant," then she wouldn't be on the poster.
Neither. And we didn't get to see Rocket this time around. Which trailer can we trust?!![]()
So I wonder if they're going to address the fact that Capt. Marvel hasn't aged in the 30 years between her movie and Endgame? I was expecting some explanation at the end of Capt. Marvel but it was never addressed. I guess at this point we can just assume her powers have stopped or slowed her aging.
But more recently he also admitted that he lied a bunch in interviews about the film to throw off viewers. So take that claim with a heavy helping of salt.
