Captain Marvel (2019)

IMHO, I doubt that all these man-babies ever watched Alita. Probably their judgment on the movie is based only on the trailers and the fact that during the various interviews no one of the actors said anything that offended them...

...until after it debuted Rosa Salazar happily framed Battle Angel as a pro-immigration, anti-Trump wall story.

Frankly I had never heard of this movie until someone posted a gif of it here and it looked creepy.

What is a bachelor supposed to do?

Nothing but paper plates and plastic cups, I guess...

There was an episode of 'The Courtship of Eddie's Father' where Norman was showing Eddie and his dad how to live like bachelors. For instance, food is eaten by hand over the sink. No dishes to clean.

Haven't seen the movie yet, will go tomorrow. But even though I found your phrasing a bit harsh, I am curious to see how inflated the entire 'feminist standpoint' this movie supposedly makes really is.
I don't mean that in a negative way. What I'm curious about is, is this just a superhero movie with a female lead or a statement? And I kinda doubt Marvel would actually make a statement. As much as people complained about Black Panther, I found nothing about that movie screaming 'statement' to me, just a superhero movie with a big african-american cast, because the movie is set in an African country. There you go.

It's so easy to talk about political agenda's these days, that some people forget that not everyone has one. If anything, I'd say its a financial agenda, because Marvel is well aware of what's going on in the world today and knows what will sell.
The statement of the movie is never underestimate a cat. :)
