It's interesting that as soon as Berg and Harberts (sp) got replaced, the episodes switched from pseudo-profound philosophical monologues to traditional log entries.

They drew attention to advanced AI being a thing in this show. I'm suddenly much more convinced by the "Zora is the Red Angel" theories.

End of the first act. I'm rating this one early. 10. For lack of an 11.

Reaching Talos IV and everything about it hit me in a way I didn't expect. And it's only getting better from there. I'm typing this only during the commercial break. This is amazing to watch.

I like this about as much as "Calypso" right now.

So far, I think it's better than Calypso.

I am still not really "seeing" TOS Spock in this version of Spock. He feels like a different Spock, a Vulcan that happens to have the name Spock.

The B plot is kinda dragging the episode. I am much more interested in Spock and Michael on Talos IV.

Good episode. And Vina! LOL, they're throwing the kitchen sink and everything into it. I thought it was a good follow up on the Talos IV lore.

This episode would be confusing for those who have never seen TOS

The Starbase security officers looked like they were wearing the black Terran uniforms

Well it isn’t TOS yet, so....

Correct me if I'm wrong but weren't warp capable shuttles NOT a thing in this era? I don't know if this has happened in this show before, just something I noticed last week. In any case, just something to keep in mind now I suppose.
