Ok, can anyone kindly explain to me why MRAers are saying that Alita is a good movie with a right female representation, in opposition to the "SJW crapfest" that is Captain Marvel...? Now I'm feeling dirty because I liked the former...

You're asking for logic where there is none.
I think it has less to do with the content of the respective movies and more to do with a certain segment of the audience simply not liking Brie Larson.
I really have no idea, but, without any implication regarding the actual content of the films, could it be "fembots good, women bad"?

I didn't discuss the quality or content of the Captain Marvel film at all.
Rather, the controversy surrounding it.
I'm interested in the bigger picture about this film, because I definitely will be seeing Endgame opening night.

Alita's actress didn't say anything and no broflakes are scared Alita will take over a series that was dominated by male leads, so they feel less threatened by her.
Another interpretation I read is Alita embodies the trope of Born Sexy Yesterday, a trope that is quite problematic...

I love the smell of objectification in the morning. Smells like... sexism.
The only "controversy" surrounding the film is butthurt fanboys who like to play the victim whining about "third wave feminism" and review bombing a movie they haven't seen.
Yeah, virgins, they've been the hot item for the insecure since time out of mind.
I'll admit, I'm not fully sold on this movie based on the promos and trailers. But I do have tickets for Saturday morning and am at least going to give it a chance. Because then I can have an informed opinion. But I'm not going in with negative attitude. I hope I'll have a great time because who wants to spend their time, money and energy on something they aren't going to enjoy?

The only real takeaway from pitting CM against WW is that Wonder Woman is a far more iconic superhero than Marvel's offering, and that's due both to length of time and cultural spread.
Any other serious comparisons reek heavily of "let's pit the women against each other for our entertainment, fellow men".
