Why is it "Mr. Seven" and not Gary Seven? I guess it is more respectful. "Seven" is an odd surname.

Perhaps because they were a little unsure of what first name they wanted him to have. While he was Gary Seven in the original, non-Trek-connected half-hour pilot script from 1966, the December 5, 1967 series pitch document by Roddenberry & Art Wallace (dated between the first and revised first drafts of the episode script) names him Anthony Seven. Maybe they'd already contractually determined the screen credits before they made the final decision on the character name.

I caught Barbara Luna last night as Hawk's mate, Koori, on Buck Rogers in the 25th Century.

To think there were only like forty episodes of that series!

France Nuyen graced, with many costume changes, an episode of The Magician entitled "The Illusion of the Lost Dragon."
Also present, though not Trek Alumni, were the ubiquitous Soon Taik Oh, and Quai Chang Cain's venerable master, Philip Ahn. The villian, for heaven's sake, was played by Dr. No!

Speaking of Quai Chang Cain, I really liked "Kung Fu", I don't think I would have liked it better if Bruce Lee had had the role.

Forty three to be exact and it's a classic! Even Jack Lord graced his presence on the series with Alfred Ryder in Vikor, an episode about a human industrialist aiding the invasion by mass producing the regeneration tubes here on earth!

We'll never know, but I agree it was a great series. Still one of my faves.

Just saw Stanley Adams in a small role in Mannix and now Madalyn Rhue (sp) is playing the wife of a gangster on Cannon.

In this week's 50th anniversary episode of Get Smart, "Leadside," Paul Carr played the henchman of the title character, a half-baked spoof of Ironside. Carr fell backwards out of Max's apartment window during a fencing duel between Max and Leadside, in which Carr was pushing the wheelchair back and forth.

His playing Kirk's incompetent substitute did a lot to damage his reputation.

Well he was going to be a Starbase Commander and probably would never see a Romulan or a Klingon ship in his vicinity anyway and like Kirk said he was a pen pusher! :nyah:

I just discovered that John Hoyt is the uncredited voice of the offscreen doctor that gives Ben Gazerra (sp) the bad news in the intro to the series 'Run For Your Life'.

Was that a type of Fugitive style series?
