Star Trek Discovery Renewed For Season 3

How did these crazies become Star Trek fans in the first place? Everything they complain about is literally what Star Trek is and has always been.
most of them aren't Star Trek Fans. They are the same crowd behind Gamergate, Comics Gate, the backlash against The Last Jedi, Doctor Who, GB2016, Captain Marvel and so forth. Hate mongering gypsies that roam from franchise to franchise to declare white genocide whenever someone does anything remotely progressive.
They couldn't care less about Star Trek other than abusing the show for their 'girls have cooties' agenda

Great news. Thought it was a goner TBH but I'm happy we get another season. So happy.

To be fair, the kind of people ragging on Discovery are the same kinds of #notmystartrek types who were down on TNG in the early seasons.

The show that got slammed is getting a highly anticipated spin off show, the one that all the 'trad' fans are really excited for.

Times change. Go figure.

Someone else mentioned Gamergate to me elsewhere. It would explain why they keep mentioning all these other genre shows if, to them, Star Trek: Discovery is just another one in their long list. Or why whenever I mention something from the older shows that messes up one of their talking points, they draw a blank.

DSC is the only current Sci-Fi show I watch. Though I keep meaning to check out The Expanse. Otherwise, for the past decade, I've been more of a Mad Men, Breaking Bad, AMC person. I don't have time for all the crap they're talking about or whatever else they're hate-watching. All I can say is I'm glad they're channeling their hatred toward TV shows and movie franchises; not in more serious, destructive ways that would actually effect people in Real Life. Or, to quote Scotty in "The Way to Eden", "At least we know where they are and what they're doing!"

Ya know, this is quickly becoming a segment of a thread saying that all non leftist thought is based in stupidity and ignorance. Maybe veer away from that selfish thinking? Let's just focus on Star Trek.

I'm glad Discovery is getting a third season. I expect it to go 5-7. Eventually, BBC America or H&I might want to air it, since they're currently running older Star Trek shows. I wonder if they'll care if DSC ultimately ends up with less than 100 episodes?

EDIT: Actually, wait a minute. If it runs seven seasons and they stick to 14-15 episodes per year, it might actually clock out at 100.
