I have been enjoying season two. Season one for me was full of ups and downs. I almost gave up after the pilot.
The writing has been better. It has felt much more like Trek to me this season. I love that more of the bridge crew have been getting involved.
I hope that the season one damage is not enough to kill the show. It was always easy for me to say. Hey Enterprise season 3 is better! Give it a try. Now fans who depart have to PAY to get back in, a high bar. Its what I have liked least about Discovery, the pay wall for Americans only. Netflix folks world wide get it and we don't.
It’s certainly cheaper than having to pay for overpriced cable subscription packages.
I think it was an one point, but now? I have CBS All-Access, Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon Prime. Which is about $50 a month, and none of it works without an internet connection, which is another $60.![]()

Bizarrely, it's also left me wanting stories of a certain tone, and the only thing that's satisfied that want is watching The Original Series, a show I've never much enjoyed. So I think it's doing something effectively.
so far, thankfully, only one episode really was, the rest of the episodes were greatIts definitely more in tune with the 80/90/00s Trek.
I do feel that season 2 is an improvement. In my eyes the title definitely rings true. Its definitely more in tune with the 80/90/00s Trek. It's back to its roots of exploration and discovery (no pun intended), season 1 was to war centric for my taste. What are the general views here?
I knew you'd say that. I don't even believe you watched the season.Season 2 is as bad if not worse than season 1.
but we already have what we know and love. hundreds of hours of it.I just meant it's more like what we know and love.
