Picard has retired and gone to live with the Ba'ku and married Aniij, who is now pregnant with his child. After the destruction of Romulus, the balance of power has changed, and the Orion Syndicate has taken control of the region containing the Briar Patch.
The Ba'ku's world is cut off from the Federation, and they have to take on menial jobs to make ends meet. On discovering he has inoperable hair cancer, Picard decides to take care of his family by manufacturing "Ketrecel Blue" - a new variant on Ketrecel white that is popular amongst alpha quadrant species.
Cue remake of Breaking Bad.

At the end of it's multi-season run, in the last scene we hear "computer, end program," and it's revealed that the entirety of The Picard Show was just one of Riker's holodeck programs.
Special guest appearance by Jonathan Frakes.

We see Picard on a brand new Enterprise bridge. We see all sorts of cool new aliens and big stars as crew members. He then goes to a bathroom in his ready room in the first 5 minutes and closes the bathroom door behind him and the camera stays focus on the door. For 12 episodes he doesn't ever come out. The camera just stays focused on the door. Everyone at home keeps waiting and waiting for him to come out or for something to happen with this cool new setup and it never does until the last minute of the final episode were you think FINALLY something is going to happen but all you see is his hand close the door back shut. Seems it come open by accident. Then credits roll.

Only if they go with another show idea. A one man version remake of TNG. Stewart will play all 9 characters. Picard,Riker,Data,Troi,Worf,Crusher,LaForge,Yar and Wesley. The pilot episode will be about Picard having a romance with Vash in which he will also play in this new version.
