Name That STAR TREK Episode...

Uh-oh. Are we stuck? Did I get too cryptic? Did I kill the game? I'll wait a little while and then add another clue.

Not at all. The game does snooze briefly sometimes tho.

Space Speed?

I saw this in a movie about a bus that had to speed around the city, keeping its speed over fifty, and if its speed dropped, it would explode! I think it was called “The Bus That Couldn’t Slow Down.”

Not yet.

Clue 1: Able was I....
Clue 2: What do you hear?
Clue 3: Where do you come from? Where do you go?

Galileo 7

Well, Clue 1 is the beginning of a famous palindrome ending "ere I saw Elba," so I'll guess Whom Gods Destroy, although that might be too obvious. The hearing could be related to Marta's poems - seems like we've had a lot of sonic clues lately, interestingly - and Clue 3 could refer to the clothes that Garth wears or the devices he carries, which (as often seems to happen with shapeshifters) appear and disappear at will without explanation.

The Squire Of Gothos!

He kept a bust of Napoleon in his castle!

Clue 1 is about a quote credited to Napoleon.

Clue 2 and 3 are a complete mystery though...

I'm getting lost. Discofan, I love you, man, but you got two guesses in: Balance of Terror and Squire of Gothos.

Here's my guess (I hope I speled it corectly :vulcan:): That Which Survives

That is correct. It is "Whom Gods Destroy"

Clue 1: Able was I....
... ere I saw Elba.
The palindrome that Napoleon allegedly said when he saw the island of his exile, Elba. "Whom Gods Destroy" is set on Elba II.

Clue 2: What do you hear?
What Master Po asked Kwai Chang Caine on Kung Fu, the answer to which was the grasshopper that he did not know was at his feet.
Master Po was played by Keye Luke, who played Dr. Cory.

Clue 3: Where do you come from? Where do you go?
Lyrics from the Batgirl song, sung when she transformed from mild-mannered librarian Barbara Gordon into Batgirl.
Batgirl was played by Yvonne Craig, who played Marta.

Over to @Phaser Two!

Gotcha! Thanks, CC. I really feel I shouldn't win that because I only got one of the clues right, but . . . I'll take it! :techman:

Clue 1: The writer(s) forget(s) something, but Spock rolls with it.

Whom Gods Destroy, again? Spock could have used his telepathic mind mend to tell which Kirk is Kirk, but Spock lets Garth knock him over to start a fight between the Kirks knowing the real Kirk would lose. :wtf: wtf logic is that?

Ooh, I like that! Great guess. But no. You did better guessing wrong than I did guessing right, though!

The same logic Michael Edington used on Sisko in Blaze Of Glory!:D

The Cloud Minders? His open and frank discussions on Vulcan sexual practices with beautiful Droxine :adore: <edit. yes, JB>, which one year ago he couldn't bear to discuss with his two best friends, Kirk and McCoy. :wtf: wtf, again!
DROXINE: You only take a mate once every seven years?
SPOCK: The seven-year cycle is biologically inherent in all Vulcans. At that time, the mating drive outweighs all other motivations.
DROXINE: And is there nothing that can disturb that cycle, Mister Spock?
SPOCK: Extreme feminine beauty is always disturbing, madam.

The Enterprise Incident

No one mentions shields the whoooooole episode.

No. Please think about that during your lengthy turbolift ride from the bridge to Deck 2.

That's a really, really good answer but not what I'm looking for, but thanks for setting off JB's radar to come in and inform us that he preferred Vanna. :guffaw: I'm a Deela/Odona proponent myself, but I found Droxine absolutely charming and have never had any problem with Spock's discussions with her.

Shore Leave?

Don't think about the tiger!!!!!!! But no.

Second clue coming.

Clue 2: Wow, that's a pretty correct uniform.
