I know, it's just hypothetical and we have to wait for the new Picard Show and Discovery to progress.

But if you could make a wish as to new novels which series do you want to continue?

Wish Nr. 1: a new Aventine novel. I like Captain Ezri Dax.

Wish Nr. 2: a new Lost Era novel, either with TOS, TNG or DS9 background.

Wish Nr. 3: a new DTI adventure in a print version.

Wish Nr. 4: new Trek adventures by David Mack and KRAD returning to Trek, maybe with another Klingon story.

So far only part of Nr. 4 is realistic. What are your wishes?

I would love to see KRAD tackle the Discovery Klingons.

    - A fifth IKS Gorkon book that wraps up the lingering plotlines.

    - A S.C.E. mini-series that follows up on Ghost.

    - An Aventine book. I like the crew.

    - A DS9 book that ends the series in spectacular fashion. I haven't liked the post Soul Key books, for the most part, so I wouldn't mind seeing a someone take a second whack at the Ascendants storyline.

    - Either a season 5 TNG book (best cast) or a season 8 pre-Generations book.

    - A post Terra Prime/Demons Enterprise book.

    - More anthologies. Particularly Myriad Universes stuff.

Something else I'd like to see is a return of the "Worlds of..." books. I love worldbuilding stories and there are countless civilizations we've only scraped the surface of in the Trek universe.

I mean, how much do we know about Bolians or Tellarites? The first Genesis Wave book had some stuff on the Bolians, and we see Tellarite colony in Ring Around the Sky, but we know very little about these races despite being on the shows for decades.

And what about all the novel-verse races who've only made single appearances? The aliens from Children of Hamlin, the planet from Twilight's End, The Regnancy of the Carnelian Throne, the Selenean, and on and on and on. Unlimited potential here.

I'd like to have a 'Worlds of the Gamma Quadrant' series.

What happened to the Mintakans? Sarjenka's people? Etc......

There is an update on Sarjenka's planet in the S.C.E. story "Progress" by Terri Osborne.

And, yes, we don't really know much about the GQ. I always wanted to see more of the Tosk and the hunter species. There was a race from one of the early relaunch books that I thought was interesting. I can't remember their name but I think they communicated by altering their color or something.

If Goodman ever does a Sisko book a la Kirk and Picard and Spock, it shouldn't be an Autobiography. Assuming, for the sake of argument, he has Sisko never return following WYLB, then it would make more sense to be a "posthumous" biography by Jake.

Something continuing the Kelvin universe. It even those 4 cancelled 2010 novels (even if Into Darkness contradicted them all in some way)

I said this in a similar thread, and I'll say it here (and I apologize for being slightly off the target topic) a novel in the Orville universe written by Dayton Ward.

I said it a while ago, but a dream-series for me would be a "TOS Relaunch" set in the movie era. It'd mostly be what's like what's been going on, with occasional adventures set in the gaps between TMP and TWOK and TFF and TUC, but with just a bit more behind-the-scenes planning sketching out a little more of the skeleton of what happened between the movies. Pretty much what happened with Christopher describing the last mission of the TOS era in Ex Machina, then actually dipping into it in Forgotten History, or the way we've occasionally touched on the Captain Spock era (or, to cast a wider net, the way DRGIII oh-so-gradually filled in the DS9 time-skip) except with some pre-planned "landmarks" between the movies that could be referred to, set up, and eventually dramatized. Stories would still come out intermittently, and not in any order, but after a few years, you could go back and read them all chronologically, and see there'd been a secret character and storyline progression in the background. Plus, aside from the sheer glee of secret continuity, it'd help counter the issue movie-era stories often have that they seem to take place in an episodic narrative wilderness that's at odds with the feel of the movie-era, which was pretty heavily serialized.

Or I suppose I could get out that DVD I bought and read all those DC comics that were written while the movies were coming out.

I don't mind the Aventine crew as recurring characters in other series' books, but it would be nice to get at least one book that was 100% Aventine.
I could see shifting the story line, but I don't know see where it would be necessary to end the entire series.
I would be very happy with either of these. As much as I have been enjoying the post Nemesis books, it would be nice to get at least an ocassional novel set back during the series. I still think this would be perfect for e-book novellas.
Wouldn't that be the Enterprise Relaunch?
Yes, please. I just finished reading Distant Shores, and it really got me in the mood for more anthologies. As good as the novels are, sometimes it fun to get short stories that can be read in a fraction of the time.
When we got Seven Deadly Sins I was hoping that maybe we'd be getting more anthologies based around other themes like that, but I think that ended up being one of the last ones we ever got.

Anytime, Sir. BTW, just re-read Articles of the Federation awhile back (always seems to happen around the same time I do a rewatch of The West Wing for some reason...), and would really love to see more stuff in that vein.

Let's blow it all up and start over. Get some other interpretations of what happened post-Nemesis or maybe alternate timeline where everything post Encounter at Farpoint is different.

An epic anthology dealing with political consequences to some of the more well-known adventures. Presidents and Councils from 2256, 2267, 2273, 2364, 2373, 2387, or so.

I'm making my way through those gradually (so I don't run out too quickly). I can only speak for myself, but I'm really enjoying that series of comics, they're a lot of fun!
