News Guardians of the Galaxy v3 indefinitely delayed

Time travel is an option as well. Suppose, as some of the set pictures have suggested, that they actually do time travel back to the Battle of New York. They might inadvertently clue Loki into his eventual fate so that he knows enough to take steps to avoid it.

Kubo and the Two Strings was good, and Bumblebee looks like it has potential, so I'm thinking they made a good choice.

The trailers for Bumblebee are pushing all the right buttons with me, and I'm someone who gave up on the Transformers movies several years ago. So, I'm willing to give Travis Knight a chance and be cautiously optimistic. Still, James Gunn will be a tough act to follow.

I am less interested in who is Directing and more interested in an official word that they are using Gunn's script. If not then I am not interested in seeing the film.

I think the next one will set up a quite different team for future movies. And write Drax out by the looks of it.

I hope he'd film something to do it properly, or at least have something left in the can they could use. It would be sad to have him written out off screen.

How entire motivation was to kill Thanos and get closure for his family. The end if Infinity War 2 will take care of that.
He doesn’t need a big role in the next Guardians, as fun as he is.

Would this be up to the director or the producers?

Normally I would say the director, but this is a special case. Not only has Dave Batista said he won't do the movie unless they use James Gunn script, that script was specifically written with the future of the MCU in mind in regards to other franchises and such.

In a way I feel sorry for whatever director (if any) ends up taking over the film, though if they don't know what they're walking into then they obviously haven't been paying attention.

With oh-so-much irony, I've gotta say I'd be curious to see what Joss Whedon could do with the Guardians.
