As for the "mispronounced" Klingon words, perhaps in this time era Klingons are all over the top sorts and Gowron was kinda hearkening back to them with his "Wooooorrrff, Son of Mooooogghh!" stuff?
Sounds like you have an issue with certain Youtube channels and you're projecting.
I have no idea who these 'buddies' are you are referring to, because I came to this conclusion on my own using the previous examples of this PR tactic that I've shared.
If you have an issue with the popular content posted on Youtube regarding this topic, don't take it up with me.
Ah, but you see, I do my best to avoid these “popular” channels. You are in my orbit. And you consistently preach their content as gospel. You are a disciple to the altar of their content. If you’re going to preach, that means you take the reactions, good and bad and answer the criticisms that are leveled your way.
So, Kathy Kennedy is going to be fired the same day Disco is canceled. Gotcha.
Perhaps you missed the part when sobbing Tilly first came into the room, where Michael was face down on her bed crying as well, over her teenage angst with her foster brother.Amanda, Tilly, Pike and Tyler/Voq all relied on Burnham's advice, insight and abilities in this ep. This is still the Michael Burnham show.
That part was fine for the most part, until Burnham magically figured out Tilly's spore ghost problem using the line about 'tears.' That was a stretch, but I suppose Burnham is Sherlock Holmes as well.

It really wasn't a stretch even for me to figure out..., and I was never a teenage girl.

Yes, Discovery is the first time Old School Klingons are being depicted in a way that lives up to their reputation. There's a quote from David Gerrold's The World of Star Trek that describes what the idea of the Klingons was, which I'll type up later after I track it down. And it's something you could only go so far with on a '60s TV show or in the '80s/PG-rated films.
This is all your imaginings.
I drew my own conclusions about the spinoff announcement, and I clearly explained why.
If the YT channels agree with me, that's fine. Shows they are smart and critical enough to not swallow corporate BS at face value.
Heh ...Not knowing what tears are = spore alien.
Got ya. Clear cut conclusion there.
^^^Because it was easier to reuse that model.
And no, the name comes from the TMP novelization.
It's best to ignore the K't'inga in ENT and VOY as a continuity error, nothing more.
They made an era appropriate design for ENT, the D4, but the producers said no.
Those were D5s, different design.I believe we saw the actual D4 asset in the flashback sequences for ENT S2 - "Judgement".
Actually, the D4 was rejected by the ENTERPRISE Producers because it didn't have enough "windows".^^^
I believe the issue was the asset wasn't ready in time for when the POST had to be completed to make the airdate. I believe we saw the actual D4 asset in the flashback sequences for ENT S2 - "Judgement".
Um, rewatch the episode as L'Rell in now the Mother Of Klingons as she said "Call me MOTHER!"Khalessshhhhiiiiiii, mother of ̶d̶̶r̶̶a̶̶g̶̶o̶̶n̶̶s̶. Klingons.
TrekYards (I know, I know) also just did an episode on the D4 with with VFX Supervisor Rob Bonchune and that came up.Actually, the D4 was rejected by the ENTERPRISE Producers because it didn't have enough "windows".
And that comes directly from John Eaves who worked on the show.
(and designed the D4)

With all the questions of pronunciation of tlhIingan Hol coming up, that coincides with something I've noticed re: the also-more-frequently-discussed Lt. Owosekun's surname: the "s", pronounced similarly to the Klingon "S". It makes me think there should be a diacritic over it. But which one?
Of course, that's not what happened. Not knowing what tears are = spore alien.
